Just keep in mind that the govt confiscated all the gold once before. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that the Zero would hesitate to do it again.

Yes, but bullion only. Other precious metals with intrinsic value (usually coins) cannot be confiscated. Yet. If they try, there will be enough heads-up to plan and act.
