One of Jimmy Carter's campaign promises was to open the secret files the government held on UFO’s if elected. Carter couldn't have known it at the time but that public pronouncement sealed his fate. After his inauguration Carter's life and presidency would become a living nightmare. Agents of the shadow government, that is the puppet master of our visible government, carried out daily sabotage of the Carter Administration. Among these operations was: implanting a tiny receiver and microphone in Carter's head to fabricate the “voice of God” convincing the president to pardon the draft-dodgers, give away the Panama Canal, withdraw support from the embattled Shah of Iran, and announce to an indignant crowd of dignitaries in Mexico City that the hotel's drinking water had given him “Montezuma’s Revenge;” surreptitiously drugging members of the president's immediate family to affect public personae of eccentricity and even dementia. The president's brother Billy—obviously under the influence of the powerful mind potion—said in a TV interview that, “Jimmy's main problem is that he thinks Washington DC is the real world;” infiltrating agents into the national news media to plant embarrassing stories about Carter including one incident of a fight between the president and a rabbit on a Georgia canoe trip.

In my opinion the Nixon purge and privatization of United States extraterrestrial policy in the 1960s set back the UFO/ET disclosure process at least thirty years and suppressed beneficial extraterrestrial diplomatic initiatives by the State Department, military and other actors.

Is this a joke? So because of keeping it a secret, rather than letting the giant leaking government control the information, we missed out on diplomatic policies with aliens?

The real truth is that the UFO issue was a total fabrication by the government in the first place to generate dollars for space exploration. What better way to get funding than to stage an alien crash ‘Roswell’, enact a deliberate and obvious cover up, and then deny it all. They have continued it for decades with ‘secret’ released documents or photos. The public was POSITIVE the government was hiding something, and demanded money and investigations.

Please, disinformation is one of the oldest art forms.

I believe UFO's exist but doubt they're extraterrestrial........

The best Sci-Fi book I ever read was "Genesis" by William Allen Harbinson which dealt with the possibility that "saucers" were built by Nazi Scientists who had escaped to the Antarctic and over the years built an under-ice base and were free to conduct mind control experiments on "abductees"............

I highly recommend it.......

Wow, thanks 2ndDivisionVet. :') Gee, another crime of President Nixon. On the "outtakes" section of the new BluRay of Disney's "Bambi", Nixon is seen in the background strangling Bambi's mother. A couple of years back, an ultra-secret time travel unit of the NSA had some information leak, photos, showing Nixon deliberately smashing the Titanic into the iceberg in order to kill Guggenheim, and then vanishing with his henchmen into the time portal. Creepy. ;')

The military UFO Working Group and the State Department seem to have taken the lead in attempting to regain control over extraterrestrial diplomatic initiatives. The overall situation seems to be continuing to improve with the incoming Obama administration where the Navy´s Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) is well represented. It is also well know that the Clintons had apparently been shut out of briefings involving extraterrestrial reality when Bill Clinton was in Office and so may not be complicit in the UFO cover-up. A further positive sign is that Hillary Clinton is now head of the State Department and a pro-disclosure John Podesta is closely allied with Bill and Hillary.
