Well, as a secular Jew allow me to weigh in here. In my experience--and as a generalization--the Chabad women that I have seen are better looking than the average woman, Jew or gentile. Second, compared to the average American woman, they certainly dress differently, but always seem to be well put together.

And finally, while Susie Essman has indeed made me laugh over the years with her stand-up and comic movie roles, she is--without a doubt--not someone who should be throwing stones at other women's looks.

The big question:

Why is Joy Behar on television? Did she ever do anything? Shouldn’t people on TV talk shows at least be popular, or have good looks, or be intelligent or in some way distinguish themselves?

Some people have asked, why should we even care about this stupid show and the ugly, not-too-bright *itches on it?

The problem is that millions of mental defectives tune in every day and hang on to their every word.

If Don Imus was fired for making a comment about African-American women athletes’ hair, and Michael Richards forced to go to rehab for getting into a cussing match with some homies who heckled his comedy act, why shouldn’t Susie Essman be held to the same standard?

We should care because it set's the tone of the culture. If Susie Essman thinks demeaning Jews won't come back to her, she's mistaken.

Loved the part about relating a marriage to an observant Jew to marrying a Republican. And the idea that Hasidic Jews oppose education for their daughters, where the *ell did that come from?

Very few ethnic groups you could have pulled this off about, and you're right, blacks or Muslims, start looking for a new job.
