I responded and thanked the poster for his/her honest comment. I then explained that I respect his/her position and I understand from a human stand point that one can feel that way. But the problem with such a position is that the United States is a Constitutional Republic. That means that our people and their government and judicial institutions must adhere to a set of rules that are written in the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land. The reason for that is so that the minorities, the people not in power, the people who do not agree with their government, the people who want change, can be protected from and not abused by those that hold power. In other words, the majority, government, and courts cannot just simply impose their will upon a minority, an unpopular group, or an individual without having a legal basis to do so. We call this process the rule of law. This concept is the basis for the statement that we are a nation of laws and not of men. It is the belief in this truth that forms the foundation for our most cherished and vital constitutional principal that the government and the courts cannot deny a person life, liberty, or property without due process of law.
If we let our putative President hold office simply because he is perceived by a majority, however big, to be likeable by Americans and other countries, capable of doing a good job, "cool," young, popular, worthy of a free pass because he is the first African American President, and not also because he is Constitutionally qualified for that Office, then we as a nation, including the people and all government and judicial institutions, have abdicated our duty to "preserve, protect, and defend" the Constitution, the foundation of our constitutional republic. Under such a scenario, we will have allowed our nation to be driven by men/women and not by law. Once we make an exception to a cardinal rule, we start the slow process of the exceptions swallowing the rule. It then only becomes a matter of time before the national culture no longer adheres to the rule of law. At that point, we will have power taken by the few at the expense of the many. There will be no control of that small group. There will be no more true freedom for the masses. There will only be a small group dictating to the populace what to do and what not to do. Once such power is in the hands of a small group, they will not let it go and it will corrupt them, for it has been said in time that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. We have seen countless examples of this phenomenon in history. This is another reason why we need term limits for all our elected representatives. We cannot and must not allow our political leaders to lay claim to power for an unlimited time, regardless of how popular and good they may want the people to perceive them.
Our Constitution has created in our national psyche a culture of respect for the rule of law. It is this culture that has allowed our nation to flourish, not only for those in power but also for all those who have the drive, ambition, and dream to make something of themselves in life, including but not limited to aspiring for public office. It is this culture that has allowed the "little guy," no matter what his or her station may be in life or into what family he or she may have been born, to dream of someday realizing a position of self worth. It is this same culture that has allowed Obama himself to dream realistically of someday being President of the United States. Our Constitution has given us the gift of life. We have, to the best of our ability, to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" for the sake of our freedom and survival.

Having written two books exposing Rick Warren as a false teacher, published by Southwest Radio Church (swrc.com), I am not even surprised that Obama selected Rick Warren, they both believe in a Global Peace Plan that can be forged with Muslims. In blessing and celebrating Barack Obama, Rick Warren, and Rev. Mahoney, Rev. Rob Shenck, and Congressman Broun consecrating Obama, I would like to ask the following. I am curious would you have done the same anointing for Hitler? Stalin? Pol Pot? I am quite sure there were government officials and pastors who did exactly what you just did to honor Hitler's Inauguration! The Temple grounds after the Lord destroyed it in order consecrate it for the Romans? How about when the Antichrist stands on the Temple which the same Jesus Christ said would defile it with the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by the Prophet Daniel? Are you going to, like John Roberts and Rick Warren, consecrate this man of sin? Or are you going to sound the alarm on His Holy Hill and be responsible and warn the people like Ezekiel did as a good watchman on the wall? For if you don't his blood will also be on your hands!

Apparently none of you who applaud Rick Warren are familiar with the precedent and commandments of the Apostle Paul who did not commend false teachers rather he marked them and three times in Galatians said let them be eternally damned...unless you repent!

Barack Obama loves to quote the Apostle Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthian Church, how about quoting his First Letter to the Corinthian Church:
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves , nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Why didn't Obama cite the other key Scripture from Paul's letter to the Corinthians which is one of the cornerstones of church discipline and the doctrine of Separation from immoral brothers who claim they are Christians?
“Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.” I Corinthians 5:13
Or why not quote this passage from Paul's Second Letter to the Church of Corinth which reaffirms the Doctrine of Separation...a commandment for all Christians and pastors?

I am staggered that Obama would quote the Apostle Paul's letter without giving the context and more critically the main thrust of his letters to the Corinthian Church. I am hoping and praying that everyone who heard Obama cite Corinthians, will now go and read it for themselves and see how it indicts both Obama, what he promotes, and Rick Warren as well!
And what does Rick Warren say in aninterview with Charlie Rose, August 17, 2006, he told Charlie Rose that he told Eric Sawyer, gay activist leader: “how can I help you get your message out?” And now applauds Obama for selecting Gene Robinson to pray at his Inauguration.
In case anyone believes Warren's words in his Inaugural Prayer in which he stated on January 20, 2009:
“Help us, O God, to remember that we are Americans, united not by race, or religion, or blood, but to our commitment to freedom and justice for all”
where is the freedom and justice for all of the “resisters” and Fundamentalist Christians whom Rick Warren calls enemies of the 21st Century that he as purpose-driven out of churches? Ask these Christians who were given the left boot of fellowship how well they walked hand in hand with Rick Warren, as he is now doing with Barack Obama?? Is Rick Warren now going to give back all of the churches throughout the world that he has hijacked? And is Obama going to give the Presidency of the United States that he has hijacked (and Warren blessed) back to the People of the United States?
Because that’s too long for the sheeple to read let alone understand, it means:
