Why don’t you tell us what you’ve been doing hot shot?

Too long to list here - but a few: I served in different offices in my local Republican Women's Committee, up to and including President. I also served in my County Republican organization. I was voted in as rep to our State Conventions several times. I served on/ran staffs for state/federal candidates...gave 'teas', escorted around on introduction tours, etc etc.

I formed and ran an organization, networking with other organizations in state and country, to stop the headlong plunge into Socialism - had bills sponsored, testified on bills in the state capitol, helped defeat family intrusive bills, was chairman of my county "Stop ERA" campaign, was guest at conference in DC (by Eagle Forum") with a private tour of the WH and our banquet speaker was President Reagan) -

I was an investigative reporter for a state wide paper and exposed a lot of the beginnings of what's going on now

and so on...

Your turn

For most of my adult life, I spent ten to twelve hours per day working to support and raise my family. When I could I have helped to produce campaign stops for Congressmen and Presidential candidates, probably about eight of them. I have been to Washington four times to show support for Conservative leaders. I have also contacted my leaders continually over the years, urging them to do the right thing. I have talked to people at my place of business trying to keep them abreast of the issues of the day. I joined Free Republic's Foundation, and tried to help and establish and support chapters across the nation. I served as the Los Angeles Chapter President for a few years. We protested on the streets of Los Angeles a number of times, confronting thosuands of A.N.S.W.E.R. representatives in the process. We supported President Bush out there after his first election. We appeared on the local media outlets a number of times. And you know what, I do come to Free Republic, have been for eleven years now, and I will continue to express Conservative opinions here, because tens of thousands of people pass through here.

Af for joining the Republican Party aparatus in our state, I wouldn't waste my time. The Republican Leadership in our state is invisible. The only time it rears it's ugly head, is when it's got a solid RINO to foist off on us. When we run Conservative candidates, it's nowhere to be found.

The one thing I don't do, is insult people I don't know for not doing what it is I think they don't do.
