Rush did mention it several weeks ago. But in his wisdom, he correctly pointed out that it will go nowhere.

Had it been important to the public, the issue would have been up front and Obama would have never made it to election day.

Even the Supreme Court shot it down on all levels and every attempt to bring it back up will fail. This is not Conservative talk radio's fault either. To blame them for this in any way, or insinuate they have become “beltway republican elites” is disingenuous.

The Blogosphere has hit on this for several months from both sides and it has gone nowhere. It would be better to accept this for what it is and understand that it is the public who just does not care were Obama comes from.

The facts are, he IS going to be sworn in and there is nothing that can be done about it, that has not already been done.

Do you suppose that the survey results published are bogus, or erroneous?

“Even the Supreme Court shot it down on all levels and every attempt to bring it back up will fail. “

Your post shows how uninformed you are or you are knowingly misleading readers.

The SCOTUS has NOT dismissed any cases filed in this matter.

What they have done is denied the three stays requested to stop the election or the EC vote.

One case is scheduled for conference before the full court on Jan. 8th, two more are scheduled for Jan. 16th 2009.

This is a far cry from your claims.

And Rush should be ashamed of himself.

This is the problem with republicans, they lack the will to fight for anything.

I find your rant on your home page very telling:

“I will add my support to our cause when ever possible and remain open to anyone asking me for assistance should the need be present! Fight on fellow Freepers! But be nice and smile while you do it! We need to win people over and we can’t do it by lookin’ like a bunch of radical lunatic POPULIST LIBERTARIAN WHITE SUREMACIST GOONS! (walk softly but carry a big stick)”

Sounds like a bunch of left-wing propaganda that you support and are telling us to not act like we already don’t act, but you think we do.

Are you in fact a hidden left-wing troll?

Rush did mention it several weeks ago. But in his wisdom, he correctly pointed out that it will go nowhere.

He meant that it will go nowhere on his program -- a decision that will cost his ratings.

Had it been important to the public, the issue would have been up front and Obama would have never made it to election day.

Baloney -- it was and still is important to the thinking public. It just may not be important to the illiterate dumbed down ones and those who like to keep them that way.

Even the Supreme Court shot it down on all levels and every attempt to bring it back up will fail.

What are you talking about!!! No they didn't. It is still before them with more cases headed their way.

This is not Conservative talk radio's fault either. To blame them for this in any way, or insinuate they have become “beltway republican elites” is disingenuous.

Another baloney statement.

The Blogosphere has hit on this for several months from both sides and it has gone nowhere.

Nowhere???? Four months ago it was nowhere. Now it is all over the blogoshpere and in courts all over the country and will not go away no matter how conservative talk radio ignores it.

It would be better to accept this for what it is and understand that it is the public who just does not care were Obama comes from.

The unthinking public might not care, but the thinking public and the Constitution does care where he comes from.

The facts are, he IS going to be sworn in and there is nothing that can be done about it, that has not already been done.

Is that a "fact" or is that your "hope"??? These pathetic expressions of discouragement and defeatism and misstatements tell us that it is your "hope". Talk about "disingenuousness"?????

With all FR respect you are a bit hasty. Please take a look at my About page.

The facts are, he IS going to be sworn in
***That is a classic fallacy, the argument from silence. The silence in this case is the silence of the future. If you really knew the future you’d be the wealthiest man on the planet.

and there is nothing that can be done about it,
***Sure there is, and your defeatist attitude betrays the need for you do step two and examine your own sanity. Insanity comes from having no hope.

that has not already been done.
***Way off on that one. The issue is squarely in front of the SCOTUS, which has scheduled Berg v Obama for TWO CONFERENCES, not just one. As far as I can tell, this is extremely rare. Congressman Billybob pointed out that having one case forwarded for conference to SCOTUS colleagues is about a 1/200 chance. That makes having 3 cases have this happen is a 1/8M chance, and with 2 schedule dates & previous denials of the applications involved, I’m certain this issue is absolutely unique in American jurispredence history before the SCOTUS.
