You said — “Please, wasnt Jesus that said Gods word is not to be forced on anyone? I guess a few more million people needs to be slaughtered for not converting to Roman Catholism.”
Well..., I’m not advising to convert to Roman Catholicism, actually. In terms of salvation, I would only refer to what the Bible says for accepting Jesus Christ as one’s personal Savior.
BUT, in matters of policy and teaching “theories” (in school) or promoting same-sex marriages — those are all issues that are derived out of the Bible, God’s Word in our conduct and understanding of the world from that same Bible. So, apart from matters of salvation — we do, as Christians, have rights to promote and enforce certain types of policies and behaviors and morals, as we are guided by God’s word. That’s a different matter than salvation.
Salvation is a free-will choice by a person, as to whether they want to go to hell or not... It’s up to them if they want to burn in hell forever, I guess... LOL...
But, in other matters, we find that others are just as “forceful” in making us believe and “learn” (by means of public education) that God doesn’t exist, that He didn’t create the universe and that we *must believe* and accept that we’re descended from the “goo to the zoo to us...”, along with the corresponding corollary of accepting same-sex marriage, because if there is no God, then there is no reason for us *not* to act like the animals the gays are acting like (doncha know...).
I can’t argue with your post because I’m pretty much in total agreement. : )
