Truth be told, many black Americans only want their place in history. The southern Gullah want credit for teaching plantation owners how to grow cotton. They want credit for teaching an African dance to their masters, now known as The Charleston. They want to know their ancestry, both black and white. These things they are due. As far as financial reparations, taxpayers have been doling out guilt money for decades upon decades. When does it end?
