That is incorrect. If he was born in Hawaii he is a U.S. citizen.

And no. This is going nowhere, but I do think a mechanism for checking should be instituted, right now there isn’t one, we have just been going by the assumption that an unqualified person wouldn’t be run by a major party and win.

No, being born in Hawaii does not make him a natural born citizen. His mother had to live in America for five years after the age of 14 to automatically grant him natural born citizenship. She was not old enough to do that when Barack was born. Where is the proof he was born in Hawaii? His grandmother says he was born in Kenya.
