He really thinks he’s pretty like a Ken doll....his handshake is wimpy too. Never trust a man who doesn’t know how to shake hands correctly.

I agree Romney/Palin would have been a winner.

Yeah, exactly. The problem is, she was paired with the wrong RINO.

Yeah, I saw that and I was disappointed in Mark Sanford...I figured him to be a bigger man than that! SARAH has the dems scared and the Republican’s jealous!! They don’t want to let her enter the “boys club”....well she’s busted that door down before! God Bless her....sent her a thank you card and letter thanking all the family for what they did for our country!

Saw that as well, in fact I was just talking to a buddy of mine here at work, and told him about this. What is up w/ these jealous, backstabbing governors?? They can’t even give her one ounce of credit. It’s hard to decipher whether they are embarrassed of her b/c of the media attacks (i.e. they don’t want to be associated w/ her) or is it they just know she IS the star right now and are jealous as hell?

No matter what Sarah decides to do, these knuckleheads need to band together and support each other or this party will never recover.

BTW, for the record, I don’t know much about Sanford, but the few times I’ve seen him interviewed, he doesn’t seem overly impressive to me... feel free to flame away on that opinion if you wish :)

From comments at Patriot Room:

Bill Clinton and Al Gore campaigned for Martin last week, drawing crowds of 3,000 and 500 respectively. McCain, Huckabee, Romney and Guilliani have all campaigned for Chambliss, drawing 2,000, 2000, 300, unknown for Guilliani as he was there today. I’ll be willing to bet that Sarah Palin will outdraw all of them combined to just one of her rallies. It would not be a bit surprising if she draws in excess of 100,000 when the 4 rallies are totalled up. This is the strongest possible finish to Chambliss’ runoff, and when he wins, he’ll owe a lot to Sarah Palin.

Over/Under prediction on rally totals? Being it’s a Monday, I’ll go with over the 100,000 number posted above. A lot depends on where they’re held...

I disagree on Romney... but that is supposition and 20/20 hindsight.

Mark Sanford was on Fox last night bragging on the "new" GOP and the stars of the future -- like Jindal, Pawlenty, etc., finally Sean asked: and Sarah Palin -- Sanford hesitated, swallowed hard and said: Yes, her too...

That good ole boy network is going to put every possible obstacle in her path.

Sarah Palin will make a big difference in the voter turnout. Watch and see how many requests she gets to campaign in 2010, for both local and national candidates. I’m betting that the 4 rallies on Monday combined will have a total attendance of 50 to 100,000, about 5 to 10 times more than all the other out of state people who have campaigned for both Martin and Chambliss.

Then get involved fix the primary and caucus system. Democrats picked McCain when New Hampshire allowed them to cross over and vote for him along with their stupid, stupid rule that people from out of state can register and vote on the same day — all they have to do is stipulate they plan to move to New Hampshire...

He has no core principles is what it told me... and Romneycare is a disaster in MA... welcome to that being repeated now on a nationwide scale.

If she draws a huge crowd for Chambliss (compared to McCain, etc.) word will start to get out and other candidates will be looking for her support in 2010... the ole boys may be dismissive of her, but if she can turn out the votes they will be forced to sit up and take notice whether they like her or not. We didn’t have a single candidate who made people passionately turn out until McCain named Sarah... which means not one primary candidate excited the GOP voters and it allowed the Romney’s, Huckabee’s, McCain’s to duke it out..

"Never trust a man who doesn’t know how to shake hands correctly."

LOL! Did you see that King of the Hill episode? Frank Hill met and shook hands with (then candidate) George W. Bush and said the same thing about W's handshake. "I can't vote for a man with a limp handshake."

Yes you are absolutely correct!! If she helps elect Republicans across the country and I believe she will, she will be a solid contender if not the main contender for the nomination in 2012.

but there’s just something about him that reminds me of Bill Clinton

Maybe the fact that he was a pro-abortion Mormon. He said he changed, but who the hell ever heard of a pro-abortion Mormon?!!?

It looks like the arenas they have her appearing in have capacities in the 10,000 range, with the exception of the Atlanta location (Gwinnett Arena) with capacity of 15,000. Now, that’s seating capacity, so I guess you could add a couple thousand to the floor area.

Where is this info on the locations?

It still irks me that McCain was the nominee before we got to vote. He was the choice of states that raely vote Repub in the general election—pathetic!

What drives me crazy is all these Dems, RINOs, and MSM types who keep saying that Republicans need to sideline Rush, Sarah, the socons, etc., if we ever want to win. We lost with their guy, a moderate, on the ticket. Had Sarah been at the top, or had Rush's preferred candidate (whoever that may have been - certainly not McCain) lost, then their criticism/analysis would have some relevance. But what's the logic in saying we need to "moderate" when we just did that and lost the whole shooting match?
