Did GW have a Kenyan step grandmother that said she was there when he was born in Kenya?
Was the citizenship status of any of them in doubt? Were any of them asked to produce one?
And official BCs may not have been in use 200 years ago. And name me one president or candidate for president who had carefully sealed/erased/hidden every single bit of official information about his past, except of course two semifiction books about his life (most likely ghost written by someone else).
I'm not sure how you know this.
At least since 1933 the 20th Amendment has been in effect which seems to me to require the President-elect to have to "qualify." Certainly if I were President-elect, it would probably bother me less to produce my birth-cirtificate to "qualify" than it does to have to produce one here in NJ to get a Drivers' License. I would also be happy to provide evidence that I have resided here for more than 14 years.
