Based upon the faces and body language of the newsreaders and commentarians on TV, I'm going to call the 2008 Presidential Election for Senator McCain and Governor Palin. You would think these guys and gals were attending a funeral. They are talking down exit polls. Shep Smith looks as if he may cry! What do I know, though. I'm just a newbie here. Oh, yeah ... something put it totally in perspective. The Dems are calling into MO and B.O. visited IN. You all knew that though.

You know, I thought it was odd that the Obamedia hasnt been making noise about exit polls in the past two hours.
I could have sworn they couldn’t shut up about them in 2000 and 2004.

I thought, after skewing the exit polls to the Dims in 00 and 04, the Left might try the opposite tactic...saying that McPalin is so far ahead, it will give the voters a false sense of security, thinking that they don’t have to vote.
My advice is, if you must listen to exit polls, do it AFTER you vote, not in lieu of voting. I don’t trust the MSM (or Fox, for that matter) at all. I want that Chicago gathering tonight to be the biggest non-death wake in history.

The newsreaders are reading off McCain’s pollster’s point for point. I guess people were expecting an Obama blowout in the early polls and it just ain;t there.
Well, I’ve called a moratorium on TV. I’ve checked into FR a couple times to find out what’s happening, but I will not, absolutely refuse, to give any station my viewership this evening. I’ll check online sites for updates, but I won’t add to the ratings of any TV station, including Fox. The media’s coverage of this election season to this point has been horendous and I expect the same sort of nonsense tonight.

I’m with you in NOT watching the networks. I’m just staying glued to FR, which has kept me sane this election season. Some of you Freepers are hilarious. This is a really addictive site.
