There have been so many threads, I would never be able to find the one that has the quote I want -- didn't 0bama write in one of his books how he was a lost soul (or some such), no idea who he was until he found the piece of green paper folded up in a shoe box? I'm certain that isn't a verbatim quote, going on memory, the gist ... my point is, if this recollection of his from his book is correct, that he discovered himself when he discovered the folded up certificate, where are the folds, crease marks in the document scanned and posted to his website??

Polarik, for me this issue has never been so much *the way to beat this guy* as it is an issue of preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States. I don't care how long it takes to prove one way or the other, post-election win or lose -- question has been raised and the lack of disclosure on 0bama's part is astounding. There is no need whatever for the governor of Hawaii to seal 0bama's records OTHER than there is something to it that will sink this candidate. We will find out sooner or later. But for all these people who carp, say it is not important, the certification that a candidate who attempts to stand for election to the presidency, or any other federal office for that matter, meets the Constitutional requirement is a *distraction* shows they simply do not understand the whole that the Founders fought for all those years ago.

Amen! Whatever it takes to preserve our Constitution, true patriotic Americans will do it.

As I said in a previous comment, the myth and mystique of Obama rests on a very shaky foundation. If there is any way to destroy a big piece of that myth, then the mystique goes with it, because one depends on the other.

Once that is gone, the man is next to go.

So, hypothetically, what if Malcolm X is really Obama's biological father, as some have said?

That would be far more damaging to his myth and mystique than if he is not a "natural-born" citizen.
