Thanks for the post...and the encouragement! I have already decided to ignore the polls, as I DO believe they are intended to cause demoralization of the Republican base, to keep us all home.
As a Christian, I believe we must love our neighbors and work together for the common good, realizing that we will not always agree in every way, but to pull together in those areas that we can and to pray for one another in those areas we disagree so that we still can show brotherly love to one another at the ‘end of the day’.
Thanks for your support for our ‘team’ this election year! I would say that in so doing, it honors McCain in his own efforts to work with democrats to bring a common solution to some items that can be very divisive.
Hillary has come a long way in the eyes of Republicans...I only wish she beat Obama in the primary and I wouldn’t be so concerned about the future of our nation.
This isn’t about Party at this point but what is best for America. These PUMA’s, Hillary Supporters for McCain, Democrats4McCain, Native Americans Against Obama, and other groups of Democrats have worked as hard for a McCain/Palin victory as any Republican groups. In this election, we have been side by side making calls, knocking doors, and handing out flyers across America. They have become some of our bigger donors. They know how bad Obama would be and a great big thank you to them for putting the Country over Party.
This truly is putting America First.
