another useless vanity
Claims of infidelity won’t effect Obama enough to derail his campaign and constitute an October Surprise. Remeber there was an allegation against Kerry. Even a letter surfaced from the girls father saying Kerry was a predator? Poof, the young lady in question gets a high paying job wwwwaaayyyy out of the country, obviously somewhere the media wasn’t able to get plane tickets to. AND her father was interviewed afterward saying what a great guy John Kerry is ...
Democrats are immune to infidelity charges. (except for that guy recently in Florida, but his was so blantant and if he hadn’t taken Foley’s seat, would have been ignored)
An October surprise would have to be good and have to be beyond imagination.
I mean look what we have so far. Rezko, Odinga, Ayers, ACORN, Khalidi, Marxism, Birth Certificate, Rev Wright, Pfleger, his wife, anti-Americanism, New Party, flawed Constitution, etc etc etc and the guy is STILL ahead in the polls.
Unless it’s something big and huge like he’s got dead bodies in a freezer in his closet it ain’t gonna make a difference.
ping to October surprise.
This guy has more of a teflon coating than slick Willie.
Where is the “vast right wing conspiracy” and the “Republican Smear machine” when you need them? Looks like the took the last six months off.
October Surprises don’t happen without the MSM running with them.
HIstorically they have been surprises against the GOP candidate.
The term was coined with the ultimate Lawrence Walsh announced that Bush’s defense secretary Caspar Weinberger was being indicted in Iran-Contra scandal - four days before the election.
Any Republican “surprise” will not get traction.
What can be predicted is a democrat “surprise” in the media against McCain/Palin.
I agree Kozman. It is just like announcing Sarah the morning after his Greek Monument speech at the DNC. Take away the good press and the talk around the water cooler.
