Update:

Hi Family and Friends,
Our son, Joey was born this morning about 9:30 am. He was 6 lbs, 1 oz and one month pre-mature due to a vesa previa condition. He awaits a shunt to drain fluid from his little head, a possible operation tomorrow about 8am to fix a esophagus problem (it may not be connected to his stomach but instead connected to his treachea) and a bowel that isn’t venting to the outside (no anus) and sacral agenesis.

Please keep Joey in prayer…but we DID get to hold him late last night!

O Great Physician, impart Your wisdom to those treating baby Joey ... guide them through every procedure, that this precious babe would be given the fullness of health. Strengthen his body to withstand the surgeries ... encourage his family as they wait upon You ... bring comfort to their hearts as they see Your handiwork in their beautiful boy.

Raise him up, O Lord, that Your Name would be glorified, both now and in the days to come. Amen ...
