Even though this subject is kind of redundant to us FReepers, the more people that talk about it, the better the chances are of the correct people talking about it.
John McCain was not born in America, he was born in the Panama Canal Zone; however, he was the child of two American citizens living under the jurisdiction of the United States.
There are lots of legal exceptions (American parents at sea, child considered natural born citizen, children of military, diplomats, etc. natural born citizens).
Obama's rumored birth in Kenya does not meet these exceptions.
We are all waiting for that document. It certainly appears as though it does not exist.

This is absolutely ridiculous that he has gotten this far and not one Secretary of State in this nation can produce his original birth certificate. Contact your Senators and Election officials and perhaps one of them can get a copy of this alleged certificate so this can be put to rest or Obama can be removed from the ballot.
Rush and Hannity have both refused to talk about this... are they part of the conspiracy too?

When I lost my SS card, I had to have ID including my Birth Certificate to get a new one.

Being born on foreign soil DOES NOT automatically define a person as not “natural born”. “Natural born” citizenship must begin at birth, and many other circumstances come into play. I was born in a British hospital (St. Mary’s) in London in 1939, to American parents. I have a British birth certificate, plus a Consular certificate issued by the American Embassy attesting to my birth in England to two American parents - and my derivative American citizenship.
We traveled to the US early in 1940 and eventually settled in California. My brother was born in 1945, and then my father died in 1947. My mother re-married in 1949, and her new husband adopted my brother and me a couple of years later. Each of us received a new “Delayed Certificate of Live Birth” from the state of California, complete with our new name and our old birth date. My brother also had his original California birth certificate sealed by the court, and no longer has access to it. I still can obtain both of my original documents because neither California nor the US exercise any authority over them.
When I was 18, I took a formal oath of citizenship, and was issued a “Certificate of Citizenship” by derivation, with a citizenship date in 1939.
Because I have these documents - and for many other reasons - I am far more qualified to be President than Barack Hussein Obama.
John McCain was also born outside the US, in a foreign hospital on foreign soil, to two American parents. Of course his father was serving his Country, accompanied by his family, and only the most depraved would attempt to deny that child his full citizenship rights. Depraved, like the democrats who raised the issue and attempted such a disqualification. John McCain’s answer was to immediately provide the original, official documents that I described above, thus firmly establishing his own eligibility beyond any doubt.
If there was any real meat to this the story would have broke a long time ago. Given how much some folks have speculated you can be absolutely sure that Clinton’s talented and high paid band of opposition researchers/dirty tricksters checked it out. As did people from other Democrat campaigns. And have all sorts of operatives of the Republican party and the McCain camp. As have all sorts of reporters who are hoping to make a career.Something like this could not be hidden this late in the process. Unless of course you think that either everyone in the Clinton camp, the McCain camp, the conservative media, the elite media, etc, etc, etc is either in on the trick or absolutely incompetent.

There is certainly something fishy about 0bama's birth record, or he would have produced it by now. Maybe his name, maybe no father listed, maybe a different father listed...
