In today’s video, John Smith shares his thoughts on voter turnout:
“Now, about my standing in the polls. Some polls say I’m way ahead. Some say I have a narrow lead. And some, at times, have said I was trailing. Well, let me just say this about polls: Polls do not decide an election; voter turnout does.
“Don’t get me wrong. I have tremendous respect for polling companies, and the 310 Americans across this country who still don’t have caller ID and are willing to participate in telephone surveys. But the polls do not reflect the tremendous support that I enjoy among corpses and household pets — and, with the help of fine grassroots community organizations like ACORN, I intend to make sure that the voices of these inanimate and subhuman voters are heard on election day.”
