You're right. I'm a bit skeptical. There are 9 1/4 million imahe hits on Google for Obama, but there are only about a dozen unique angles of him shown -- the rest are duplicates --- and none of them were taken at ne of the two angles of those taken of Davis, so a direct one-to-one morphing will be impossible.
I'm going to try and morph the ears, nose and lips to see if they support or refute the notion that they look like Obama's.
My concern is whether a white person -- even one who has 12 years of experience working with Black Americans -- can make judgments best reserved for forensic anthropologists.
I hate to say it but that racial cliche, "They all look alike," does have`some validity for both blacks and whites.
Once when I was in China, a Chinese man told me he/they think all white people look alike.
A cute note, he also said when he was little, he thought he could dig a hole all the way through the earth from China to America.
