Claim: Obama's "birth certificate" forged with sister Maya's original By Israel Insider staff August 5, 2008

Independent analysts, working separately, claim to have discovered that the original Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth used in the fabrication of the Barack Obama "birth certificate" belongs to the Presidential candidate's younger half-sister, Maya.

Examining the high resolution image originally posted by the "Daily Kos" left-wing blog and subsequently claimed as authentic by the campaign, and posted in lower resolution on the campaign official "Fight the Smears" website, at least two analysts have been able to independently discern the name "Maya Kassandra Soetoro" from artifacts left behind in the process of forging a new fake document for Barack from an image of Maya's original document. Additional confirmatory information, such as her birthday and the nationality of her father have also been resurrected. A full report documenting all details is to be published in the coming days. Israel Insider has not yet seen proof that would validate the claim.

So to accomplish that “appearance” of being born in the US and not Kenya, someone would use your sibling, who was born in yet another country, as their fake COLB? That makes no sense either.

It was clear a month or two ago when this came out that there were no artifacts or anything else that would point to his sister’s name. Not rocket science, no fancy tools needed (you can download GIMP for free). Pushing this theory is a big distraction.

I think you just answered your own question. The only reason to use hers is that he didn't have one of his own? I've only been getting up to speed on this story in the past 2 weeks, so I honestly don't have all the answers. This explains it better . All I know is there is something very rotten going on if he posted a fake and is fighting this lawsuit rather than just producing the vault copy of his original birth certificate. To do so would insulate him from criticism and allow him to play the victim for lots of free press.

Funny thing is why would Barack Obama not just release the real certificate. Heck, He spent his August week long vacation in Hawaii! So if he went to Hawaii to clear up this issue of the birth certificate then he would have come back and given a TRUE COPY to the DNC and then released it to the public. After all there is nothing to hide that has not been made public about Barack Obama as this point in the election cycle.

Especially considering that Factcheck.org is owned by the Annenberg Foundation (you remember, that orginization that Bill Ayers and Barack Obama were involved with ) and oh yeah, why didn’t they scan the certificate in if they had it in their hands?

What you are doing by dragging Ayers into this is called an "ad hominem attack" where you attack the source of the information rather than the information itself. Your opinion of the Annenberg Foundation does not discredit physical evidence. Sorry to have to break that to you.

Why take a photo from the side angle?

To demonstrate the the paper is a three-dimensional object.

Of course that proves it though. A digital photograph taken from the side and at a distance.

Yes, and if you want to establish that this birth announcement is fraudulent, it is incumbent on you to produce some evidence of that.

But that still doesn’t answer his Indonesian citizenship that his mother gave him by letting her new hubby adopt or claim in Indonesia.

No, it doesn't, but whether or not Indonesia chooses to grant Obama citizenship does not change the fact that he is a naturally born American citizen and therefore qualified to seek the Presidency.

I realize that it's a lot easier to sit on your butt and spin wild tales of grandparents sending in fake birth announcements than to do something like phone banking, but conspiracy theories are not winning McCain any votes. There's a campaign going on. Maybe you should get involved.

Yesterday was payday, so today I sent a donation to McCain. I'm actually voting for Barr, but McCain is already going to win my state. Maybe my contribution will help McCain win a swing state.

He produced a copy of the certificate for FactCheck, but he won't allow the Department of Health to provide one for case that is now in court. That makes absolutely no sense.

William Annenberg might have been a lifelong conservative, but his Chicago branch has been hijacked by radical socialists. Do you even read Freerepublic? Did you not read about Bill Ayers and Obama’s affiliation with that group?
