1. They make Obama opponents look stupid.
1b. They also make Obama opponents look desperate, and create the impression that they don't actually have any real case against Obama.
2. Wallowing in the fever swamps of conspiracy-theory nonsense weakens one's ability to think rationally. Inability to think rationally guarantees defeat.
3. They make Obama opponents look stupid.
4. It provides a guilt-by-association talking point against the expose of the (actually) forged TANG documents. I wouldn't be surprised if Dan Rather and his sycophants are already starting to spread the meme "The people who said the memos were fake are the same ones who said Obama's birth certificate was fake -- so how can you believe it?"
5. Have I mentioned that they make Obama opponents look stupid?
See previous message. Unless we laugh it out of court pronto, this goofball moonbattery will be confused with the genuine detection of the National Guard Memo forgeries, damaging the credibility of the latter.
Cool. Think of all the free time you will now have to pay no attention to it.
Freepmail for ya.
Good post Phil.
ROTFLOL!
That’s good!
BTW, is this the Fact Check that’s affiliated with Annenberg?
Steve-b, how is Biden on IP? Wasn’t Biden the one who put forth the bill that would have set up a peer-to-peer software watchdog agency?
(Side issue, but cosmically funny! I love cosmic jokes!) As a particular class of blogging personalities, why do advocate darwinists who are driven to viciously mock Intelligent Design have so much of a problem with any continuing effort to determine if the CoLB is a fraud?
***I hadn’t noticed that but it does resonate.
It’s related! No conspiracy, just that it taps into the same strain of human ability/limitation.
4. It provides a guilt-by-association talking point against the expose of the (actually) forged TANG documents.
***Do we need to mention that this one makes you look stupid?
LOL!!
Barry Obamalow !! hahahaaa!
In every photo of the embossed Seal on the backside of the COLB, the top part is cropped out right where the bottom fold should be.
Me thinks that it is intentional
“Care to bet on that?”
No problem at all. Name it.
Well, there is no doubt something is well beyond fishy with this whole factcheck thing.
Regarding the hypothetical situation, where the employer wants proof of an applicant’s MBA and CPA:
That employer would be a dolt to hire someone who won’t allow the employer to request that the proof come directly from the schools, back to the employer, without an intermediary.
When I applied to college (and I’m sure this is true for most, if not all colleges), the admissions office would NOT accept a copy of my transcript from me. I had to write to each former school and request that a certified copy of my transcript be sent directly to the college admissions office.
It’s reasonable for us to ask the same of a candidate for POTUS.
Why not authorize anyone in the media to ask the Hawaii DOH to send a certified copy directly to the reporter, without Obama’s intervention?
IF it’s legit, what’s the problem?
About those FactCheck photos:
If anybody knows: why doesn’t the embossed seal look like the one on PD’s COLB? It looks like just so many blobs. I can’t make out any letters. Shouldn’t it be even more legible than an older COLB? I can see “Hawaii” clearly on PD’s COLB.
What is the FactCheck embossed seal supposed to say?
Did Hawaii change the seal at some point? Does anyone know what a circa-2007 seal ought to look like?
I also noticed that the top of the embossed seal, on the reverse side of the FactCheck photos, is consistently cut off. Why?
Why didn’t they show us the entire back side in one image?
According to Hawaiian law, if a COLB reflects “revised” information, then it must plainly say so, somewhere.
Doesn’t it look like text is missing below the fold, on the far lefthand side of FactCheck jpg 1? (If you rotate it right side up.) Is this a result of glare on the paper?
Is the green pattern on the paper supposed to be on both sides of the document? I don’t remember seeing the reverse side of other COLBs.
So, which came first, the chicken or the egg? And why? The timeline is crucial.
“Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, NO MATTER HOW IMPROBABLE, must be the truth.”—Sherlock Holmes (Arthur Conan Doyle)
If you cannot do that, then it means that the FactCheck scanned image is not a faithful copy of Obama's genuine paper COLB but, is instead, a forged image made to look like a real scan of Obama's paper COLB. In which case, then you owe me a $1,000.
Deal?
“If you can prove that the FactCheck scanned image is a faithful copy of Obama’s genuine and original paper COLB, ten I’ll give you $1,000”
Proof that is is real is the absence of proof that it is fake, therefore you are the one who has the burden.
