The truth about Obama’s birth certificate.
Summary
In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document’s authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is “fake.”
We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship.
Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as “supporting documents” to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.

Wow, I went to the site and looked at everything. Since I have not kept up with this as you have, do you believe it all?
First time I’ve seen the ‘raised stamp’ clearly showing on anything that’s been posted!
When all of this started, I remarked on a thread that someone had blacked out the certificate number for privacy reasons.
At issue is not just whether or not he has a proper birth certificate.
I'm not a lawyer. But the theory goes that after receiving Indonesian citizenship from adoption by Lolo Soetoro, BHO could return the the U.S. andf become a naturalized citizen, but can never again regain status as a natural-born citizen.
Which would mean he could never run for President under any circumstances.

Ok the suit is predicated on his loss of citizenship when his mother took him to live in Indonesia after marrying a foreign national and living in that country with her son for over four years according to the laws on the books at the time.
Even the remedy passed later by INS laws state he had to take an oath of allegiance when he turned 18 to become a “naturalized citizen”, not a natural citizen again. He’s had divided loyalties and can not be a natural born citizen again. This is the federal statutes. He didn’t even do that to regain his citizenship. As soon as we get the court stamped copy we will make it available to everyone. Please help us get the word out. This is not out of some obscure website.
The laws Phil cites are federal regulations handling loss of citizenshp by a minor child who follows his custodial parent’s citizenship. Thank you for any help you can give us to spread it. The media may not pick it up and report it. [emphasis mine]

Ha, ha, ha, ha. We are supposed to believe a “fact check” done by “Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania”?
Don’t you know that “community organizer” Barry Soetero was the Chairman of an Annenberg boondoggle, and that the founder was his Pentagon-bombing pal Bill Ayers.
Of course he has now managed to lock down the records of that period in his corrupt life.

He announced his candidacy on Feb. 10, 2007. We know he’s traveled abroad quite a bit, and just in the course of normal living for all the years before this major event, including foreign travel, you would’ve thought he would already have had an official certificate of live birth .. or certified copy of his birth certificate .. long before June 2007, the apparent issue date of the current COLB.

Outstanding! With next week’s convention on the horizon, time ran out for the Clintons and they had to make their move. There’s no way they can keep their fingerprints off this nuclear attack on Obama.
I can hardly wait to hear Hillary’s first comment on this. I bet anything she is presently “unavailable”.
I hate to say it, but after all this public questioning for MONTHS about where Obama was born, and why he doesn’t release his birth certificate, and whether he is a dual citizen or maybe an Indonesian, or maybe was born in Canada or Kenya, you would think he would agree to RELEASE HIS DAMNED BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
But he hasn’t. So it’s hard not to conclude that where there’s smoke, there’s fire, in this instance. Something is very, very wrong.
The guy who is bringing this case is a certified moonbat, and likely it will not be heard, but it will be interesting to see whether any of the delegates brings this question up at the convention.
After all, they wouldn’t want to nominate him if he isn’t qualified to run for president. And there’s enough doubt about it so they should insist that he make his official records available to the convention committee.

Exactly. Whether you believe the COLB is a forgery or not, there is the appearance that Obama is hiding something.
Since he is a leftist he could file the case to intentionally lose the case there by sealing this whole thing as a right wing plot.
