*BREAKING* Lawsuit Being Filed Today in Philadelphia *MEDIA ALERT* [Update]
August 21, 2008
I have just received word that a lawsuit will be filed today in Federal Court challenging Barack Obama’s qualifications to be President.
I am told that ALL MEDIA should report to the U.S. District Courthouse in Philadelphia in approximately one hour.

UPDATE: The motion will be for an emergency temporary restraining order prohibiting Obama from running for president, and enjoining the DNC from nominating Obama as the Democratic presidential candidate.

There are two questions that spring to mind:
1. Who filed this lawsuit? Sounds to me most likely like a diehard Hillary supporter.
2. Has the filer obtained a copy of Obama’s birth certificate? If so, then this could be interesting. If not, this will quickly fizzle.

If this is true, then waiting until after the convention would have made it untimely, and might have been dismissed on those grounds.
Similarly, I think the timing of McCain’s attack ads is also good, and will cause some second thoughts heading into the convention, and may cause some confusion or lack of solidarity in the Mile High, Inch Deep City.

Couldn’t this have waited until after the convention? If Hillary is the nominee, it’s over. I suspect that if Obama were forced out now, there would be an underwhelming turnout in the black vote.
Democrats would try and spin it as those mean Republicans got their candidate disqualified, but I don't think it would work. I think Obama is their best chance now.
However, if Obama is shown to have fraudulently ran as President, the McCain Campaign should seek an immediate injunction to freeze his campaign funds and personal funds. McCain has been forced to spend a fortune campaigning against him, and it it is because of fraud, the McCain Campain should seek a fortune in damages.

If this is filed today, obviously it is coming from the Hillary camp or some other disgruntled Rat. Or Judicial Watch, in which case we can assume only that their coffers need replenishing; and we should expect little or nothing to come of it.
