Looks like its an offical hold while they consider the appeal. Hoepfully they will give a negative answer to that last-minute appeal tonight.

Justice Kennedy’s fingerprints are all over this one.

I posted an article earlier today regaring this animal.

This stay is sickening. If I had to make a wager, I’d say it was Ginsburg who agreed to the stay.

Sickening abomination of justice.

The fact that anyone thinks this maggot should be allowed to continue to live shows just how far civilization has fallen into the sewer.

How about an appeal for the relatives of the murdered kids who have to go on re-living this nightmare every time that piece of crap gets another reprieve?

150 years ago the piece of crap would have been stretching a rope by now.

JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED.

“An unlikely cast of legal allies, including the Bush administration and much of the world’s diplomatic community, embraced Medellin’s position, warning that the United States will be accused of violating the treaty if Medellin is executed without a hearing on his consular access claim. The case pitted President Bush against his home state of Texas.”

Bush never ceases to disgust me. Perhaps one should post the victims pictures on the daily dose. Interupt their pathetic love fests with a visual of the effects of his true character.

Sounds like a prison guard just needs to beat him to death ... something like resisting a cell movement.

The penalty for a capital murder such as this one should be death. There shouldn’t be any question.

They will find some excuse to overturn this death penalty. We’ve got a government of men, and not laws.

This maggot should be executed in exactly the same manner that he murdered these two girls. The fact that he's trying to get out of a long overdue execution by claiming that he was not allowed to contact the Mexican embassy makes my blood boil. Once he's finally snuffed, we should hang his rotting corpse upside down at the border as a warning to the other scum bags trying to break into our country.

Lethal injection is too good for this scum. The fact that the "International Community" and our own State Dept. want to spare this sub-human makes my blood boil. As a Houstonian, I vividly remember this case like it was yesterday. Cases like this bring out the "get medieval on his a$$!" impulse in me.

The only punishment that fits this guy (and his accomplices) is the one depicted in the 1969 Polish epic film Colonel Wolodyjowski, set in the late 17th Century. One of the characters betrays his people and rapes the daughter of the family of the people who brought him up, and then kills them all. He is hunted down by heroic Poles who carry out the ONLY proper sentence:

Readying the sharpened stake:

A team of horses pulls the rapist/murderer/traitor onto the stake:

Impalement complete:
