The Wall Street Journal reports that Carly Fiorina, former Hewlett-Packard CEO and senior adviser to Sen. John McCain, met with a group of 25 prominent supporters and fundraisers for Sen. Hillary Clinton at a private home in Westchester County, NY. The group included several so-called "Hillraisers," each of whom have raised in excess of $100,000 for Clinton's failed primary campaign.An organizer of the meeting, Amy Siskind, said that the pro-Hillary groups represented pledged to help deliver, "hundreds of thousands and maybe millions of votes," to McCain if the groups find areas of agreement between themselves and his campaign.

I’ve been predicting this for months. Look back at ‘04. The Clintons helped get GW re-elected against Kerry, with their eye on the ‘08 prize (GW could only serve another 4 years, after all).
Now that she knows there’s no prayer for VP pick, and unless there can be a huge scandal unearthed about BHO at the last minute (we only wish), Hill/Bill will be a big help for McCain (God knows he needs it) - they’re sure that he’d only be a one-term prez (vs. the BHO danger of 8 years), then they can come back in ‘12.

Sorry, but I disagree. This may work well in the Orient, but it doesn’t win election in the US for the most powerful office on earth - particularly not THIS year, against such a razor-sharp, slick & cunning opponent as BHO. I respect honor and integrity, but get increasingly frustrated daily about how far backward JSM and his people are bending over to be politically correct and “non-offensive” to the point of seeming paranoia. Sometimes I wonder whether he’s a cheerleader/defender for BHO and it’s sickening.
