Silly question: Is it possible to seal from public view documents that have already been made public?

I keep telling people that the original "vault" long-form birth certificate is beibg withheld from view, and NOT the COLB or the Letter of Verification (and uncertified and unstamped document) -- those are the documents that are a matter of public record.

People who demand to see the original BC will get bupkis. They need to request a Letter of Verification.
