Yes, but since the passport has no physical description, the Notary did not regard it as sufficient ID.

Perhaps a different Notary would have accepted it? I didn’t shop around.

::shrugs:: I was just more curious as to what is considered proof of citizenship more than what your notary needed.

I’ve unfortunately have learned that an illegal alien probably has a better chance at proving themselves a US citizen than I do.
