The Honolulu Advertiser published a correction on January 16, 2006 that said:
Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., was born in Honolulu on Aug. 4, 1961. A Page One story last Sunday contained incorrect information about his birthplace.
And it's noted that the paper doesn't say Duckworth retracted her version.
