If he was born out of wedlock, to a citizen mother, he may well get citizenship at birth (under 8 USC Sec. 1409(c)), even though he was born in Kenya. That doesn't automatically answer the Art. II, Sec. 1, Par. 4 eligibility test--but it is a leg up. It may make him a citizen.
Color me a little skeptical, but I don't think anyone is likely to care or be otherwise affected politically, as a result of the fact that he is illegitimate.
And by the way, I also tend to think that his parents were in fact married--in Kenya; which is where he was born.
If I was WOSG, I’d be pointing out that the versions posted in mid-June are the same as the ones there now. I don’t trust KOS but I trust factcheck.org to have the same image. If you can see that seal impressions now (you can) then they were on the original images. The mistake people made was going with the low-res ‘fightthesmears’ version and not finding it and turning that into an ‘aha’ moment. No go. The seal impresions were on the high-res image from the get-go.
