OK. So we have had multiple experts declare that the text of Obama's Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) was photoshopped. We have definitive proof that someone in the Obama or Kos camps used a graphics program to black out the certification number. We have been privy to an enterprising new freeper (and townhall blogger) Polarik detail the discrepancies regarding the 'hidden' certification stamp vis a vis the Kos, Obama, openDNA and Decosta examples.
However, to me, the most definitive proof that something is afoul on this COLB is the FACT that the version posted on Obama's official FightTheSmears site is NOT the same as the version posted on DailyKos' site, though they are purported to be a scan of the very same document.
They are not the same. If they were the same but just photoshopped slightly differently to hide the certification number, that would be one thing. However, there is NO VALID EXPLANATION why they would have differing border alignments. This is something I noticed at least two weeks ago, but no one has spent the time to graphically demonstrate it, so here goes.
This is from the Kos webiste, which I reloaded today and zoomed on the lower right corner border alignment. Notice the badly mis-aligned border at the intersection. Somebody did not understand the snap function when this was created:
Now below is the "same" document lifted from Obama's website today, and zoomed similarly. It has poorer quality, but it leaves no doubt that the vertical/horizontal border dividing line is aligned:
So only three scenarios can be possible.
1) Kos and Obama obtained two different versions from Hawaii, and Hawaii has a technical problem with their borders printing out differently.
2) Kos and/or Obama got the document electronically from Hawaii (against all protocol) and they printed out inexplicably different from each other, with Obama's snapping the borders into alignment.
3) These printouts represent separate attempts to photoshop the document to look like the real McCoy.
The probability of the answer being #3 is by far the highest. In any case, they ARE NOT THE SAME DOCUMENT, despite having identical other features such as the bleedthrough date and the same "info". There is some fraud taking place here. It is past time for Obama to release a copy of his original BC and clear the air.
I used various combinations of contrast, midtone and brightness, to no avail.
Thanks I appreciate the update.
Notice on Obama's official site, his birth certificate says OHBM 1.1 in the lower left corner.
The original document displayed on the Daily KOS website says OHSM 1.1 in the lower left corner.
The million dollar question is: If the Daily KOS document was supplied by a Obama campaign staffer, as was reported, then how on earth can these two documents differ?
There may be a Hawaiian state agency or department with the initials 'OHBM', but I'm not aware of any.
The agency that you request a copy of a birth certificate from is the 'Office of Health Status Monitoring', OHSM.
I think this is key also. Cover-up of a mistake?
I could not ascertain if it was looking like a ‘B’ because of the compression/sizing differences.
This is really standing out to me:
The blackened-out certificate numbers.
Why, in the world would these be intentionally blackened?
I can only think of two reasons:
1. If the birth certificate is not authentic, one would have to "guess" at what numbers for that particular date would be used. They would have to be sequential, in accordance to births immediately before and immediately after. Where to start???
2. If one was able to obtain another certificate from the same time-frame, thereby having a ballpark number, one could project a reasonably accurate number, in convincing proximity to the applicable date, and insert it with basically no questions asked. However, another Hawaiian would have that projected number, and may cause immediate convincing witness to fraud.
If the masked one would be willing to reveal his actual birth certificate number, that would certainly create a somewhat less-incriminating document, imo.
An important question:
Why was the certificate number blacked out?
There is nothing to be gained in blacking out the certificate number if the “copy” is the same as the original.
There are two possible scenarios: 1. The original does not exist, and the certificate number would expose that fact. 2. There are changes to the information between the original and the ‘copy” and the certificate number would also expose those differences.
If not for these two possible scenarios, there is no reason to black out the certificate number. It is meaningless, other than as a way for the Hawaii DOH to quickly locate the record.
I rest my case.
I may not understand all of these issues, but the most damning evidence to me is that the time of birth (7:42 pm) is the same on the Obama BC as the two blank BC that were found by someone on the internet.
that fact in and of itself should be evidence that something is being hidden from the american people. also, i question the motives of people who are trying to stop any further investigation of this or mocking anyone who believes further investigation is needed
Hadn’t heard that. Another interesting note, for sure.
“has anyone ever seen a reason given by the osama obama camp as to why the certificate number is blacked out”
Presumably the certificate number is blacked out because the certificate itself is fraudulent.
If you showed a real number, the real live person who corresponds to that number might spot it and expose the fraud.
On the other hand if you showed a fictitious number, the State of Hawaii, which knows what the valid range of numbers is for 1961, might spot the fraud.
Of course there’s always a chance that Hussein is just playing with our minds, keeps a valid birth certificate in his back pocket, and is laughing his head off.
An online petition? Great! Problem solved.
Thanks for doing that. I signed the petition.
While you’re busy signing onto websites (I note that you’re a newbie here on FR) please consider signing on at Intrade and logging into the forum where we’re discussing this. Your petition might stir things up over there. If I post it, they will consider it to be more rabble-rousing, because I’m the one who started the thread.

Will the controversy about Obama’s Birth Certificate affect the Intrade Price?
Yes, he could be ineligible to be president by the “natural born” rules 50% [ 5 ]
No, it’s a Tempest in a Teapot 50% [ 5 ]

It doesn’t solve anything, but it will more than likely do more to bring attention to the matter than a “clever” post attacking it will.
I have a strong hunch that the border on the Obama “BC” can be found in some collection of clip-art borders. It might be worth the folks reading this taking the time to look through any such collections on their own computers. Word, Publisher, WordPerfect, etc., are often installed with clip-art libraries, including borders.

On the Kos certificate, we saw the overlapping box in the border corner.
On the Obama certificate, it looks like they "fixed" the problem by extending the side borders down beneath the top/bottom borders in order to hide the bottom of the side border box behind the bottom border box (see lower right corner).
However, a new problem arises in that the bottom right of the bottom border box doesn't completely cover the bottom right of the right border box, moving the misalignment to the bottom right corner, where you see the corner edge peaking out from behind the bottom border box.

Doubtful. X number of people read a post. Y number of people "sign" an online petition. X>Y; it cannot be that Y>X, unless somehow people sign the petition without first hearing about the issue. What part of that attracts more attention?
Online petitions are almost always pointless. They're a textbook example of slacktivism -- the belief that it's possible (for the "signers') to make a difference without actually doing anything.
I'm also more than a little dubious of a site that does not reveal who is behind it, does not have a posted privacy policy, and requires a valid e-mail address. Especially when it's promoted by someone whose track record on FR goes back all of 24 hours.
At least the site doesn't have pop-up ads.
See my post 77. I saw the same thing on the Obama Smear document.

Stanley Ann Dunham (BO’s mom) was born in Kansas. Not sure what you expect in the way of a useful comparison.
