Well, that has to go down as the most incongruous statement of the century.

Gore "lost" Florida by 537 votes. Mr. Nader collected about 97,000 votes. Now I am sure that not everybody who voted for him would have voted for Vice-President Gore but I am willing to bet that al least 538 were and probably more. Now you can say that the Supreme Court handed the Presidency to Bush but if not for Nader it looks like the Supreme Court is not a factor.

Follow the logic here, for a peak into the douchebag liberal mindset:

• Bush “stole” the election, with the help of the Supreme Court because he won Florida by “only” 537 votes.
• If 538 voters selected Al Gore, Gore would have won Florida by a single vote, and the Supreme Court wouldn’t have even been a factor.

You see, when a Republican wins by 537 votes, the Supreme Court should award the contest to the Democrat to prevent a theft of the election. But if a Democrat wins by a single vote, Democrat wins, shut up courts, shut up Republicans, shut up press, everybody shut up, Democrat wins. Democrat wins. No debate. Democrat wins. Democrat wins.
