A new study by scientists has suggested that zombie attacks might increase if the current projections of global warming are realized. If the earth gets warmer, it means longer springs, summers, and falls, and shorter winters, said John Carpenter-Romero, Ph.D., a zombie-ologist who co-authored the study. And shorter winters means more time for the undead to prey on the populace.
Dr. Harrister, the other co-author, and head of Zombie Robotics at Wayward Robot, Inc., explained that cold winters typically stalled the walking dead. It is well known that zombies cant operate in cold weather. It freezes their brains.
The pair calculated a 32.782412% increase in zombie attacks if CO2 increased to twice its pre-industrial rate. Clearly, this is a very troubling result, said Dr. Harrister, If we dont do something soon, the streets will be filled with blood.
Excellent observation! Snarfed!
LOL! How true.
Good morning! Now I’m going back to cleaning my sons’ room. I needed a break from the dust ;-).
Morning. I always need a broom, dustpan and vaccuum cleaner to get rid of all the dust.
I’m not much of a dusting person, but Bill couldn’t find his Boy Scouts’ bandana this morning, so I’m on a hunt/demolition mission. So far I’ve found about 40 socks!
How many of the 40 socks matched?
Hope he didn’t lose the rest of his uniform or let it get dusty, the Scouts will not like that.
They’re various sizes and brands of white sport socks. Many have holes! When they come out of the dryer, I’ll try to make them into pairs, but most will probably have to be thrown away.
Now I know why they’re always telling me they don’t have any socks!
The rest of his uniform looked okay - and he’s got a jacket on, so maybe nobody will notice the missing neckerchief.
I opened their closet, though, and nearly fainted. I know how they’ll be spending the afternoon! Bill will claim it’s all James’s and Pat’s fault, but he and Tom were slobs long before the little brothers arrived!
Further cleaning adventures! The Dyson Supervac started making a funny noise, so I figured there was a blockage somewhere in its air flow. When I started taking it apart, I found out it has a filter that has to be cleaned every six months (have we had it six months? seems like we got it soon after Wednesday arrived!).
THEN I found a pen wedged in its u-bend and a bunch of other gunk stuck, too. Fortunately, the manufacturers expected something like this, and they’d made it easy to take the u-bend section off and clean it out! I’ll bet this is what happened when my neighbor burned the motor out on hers - something blocking the air pipe.
I have black socks. (All in one drawer.)
And white socks. (In the other drawer.)
One or the other always matches with steel-toed work shoes, and the black ones are for church & office stuff.
Very well organized! Of course, your feet probably aren’t growing.
With four boys in one room, it’s a wonder we can even find the people! And I can’t do much more cleaning until the Dyson filter dries.
The tenth post was yours, on 2/03/08.
"An old thread waking up, maybe."
So are you bragging or complaining?
Time to go.
Morning! I think. My jaw still hurts but the swelling is down, which is good, and the discoloration is smaller. Maybe I can go out in public tomorrow!
Glad to hear you’re improving!
Time to give up on cleaning and shift to Spanish Music mode!
LOL!
How long does it take for the filter to dry?
Maybe the Spanish music will get you in the right mood to do more cleaning...?
I hope the filter will be dry by the time we get home from the Spanish Mass. I have a little portable Hoover for emergencies, but I won’t last long without the Supervac!
I know the feeling! I have no idea what I’ll do when my vacuum finally gives up its last dirt bag...
