A new study by scientists has suggested that zombie attacks might increase if the current projections of global warming are realized. If the earth gets warmer, it means longer springs, summers, and falls, and shorter winters, said John Carpenter-Romero, Ph.D., a zombie-ologist who co-authored the study. And shorter winters means more time for the undead to prey on the populace.
Dr. Harrister, the other co-author, and head of Zombie Robotics at Wayward Robot, Inc., explained that cold winters typically stalled the walking dead. It is well known that zombies cant operate in cold weather. It freezes their brains.
The pair calculated a 32.782412% increase in zombie attacks if CO2 increased to twice its pre-industrial rate. Clearly, this is a very troubling result, said Dr. Harrister, If we dont do something soon, the streets will be filled with blood.

LOL! My children are watching something on PBS with a lemur. But Wednesday is here, and she claims her sensibilities are shocked!

Kids? Besides mine? On here? *sigh*
How ya been Face. What have you been doing? I've spent the winter doing genealogy.

I should get after my genealogy, too, and get it printed up. All 4,000 entries of it. But I’m working on personal histories, now, and have three to transcribe so they can be printed.
I never do as well in the winter as I do in the summer. I seem to spend much more time in bed. Reading. *sigh* I’ve read everything in the little branch library here, and will have to start going down “town.” A whole mile from here...;o]
But I’m good! Life is never boring!

I get frustrated by ancestors who hide. I’m rereading some of my Lynn Kurland books. I work on my family, start to cuss them and pickup a book. LOL

LOL!
I’ve been really lucky with mine. But I get tired and confused and then all the names and dates run together.
I’d be curious to see if your line(s) meet up with mine anywhere.
When I did my neighbor’s genealogy in Tucson, our lines met at the Mayflower; his line went through one sister, and mine went through the other. Odd how that works....

"My children are watching something on PBS with a lemur." This does not surprise me in the least. Your household is filled with exotic pets.
Is the lemur really interested, or is it just being polite?

Nothing much going on at this end.

George Lane. Cousins. Uncles. Fathers. Grandfathers. And we CAN'T do the 1st 2nd and 3rd thing. There's ALWAYS 2 George Lanes on the early census. Were these people really that unimaginative?!
So far my earliest ancestor was Edward de la Bompasse on the Fortune in 1621.

Ah. I’ll look that up. Some of mine came of the Mayflower, and some on the next ship. (The Anne? I’ll have to check.)

I too had some chocolate, in the form of hot chocolate. I may get more.
I don't want to talk about the weather. It's depressing.
It's been so cold lately that the talking heads are now admitting that climate change includes the distinct possibility of another ice age.
I'm tellin' ya, man! The Human Race is just living paycheck to paycheck away from being run over by an advancing glacier.

I have a Revolutionary War Vet from Penn that was found under a rock. Had to be as he apparently has no parents. LOL Then there's the one that avoided census' because his wifes family sued them after Daddy's death cause they wanted them to repay the gifts of money.
If I didn't love the history, I'd give up.
