The Republican talk is to win in Iraq, win the GWOT by using the tools necessary to go after terrorists, including partiot act, surveillance, gitmo, etc. Yeah? Where in the Republican Party platform do you find those points?
They're the Party zeitgeist, it's true...but how we expect to defend freedom by diminishing it is really rather beyond me. You gotta keep a sharp eye on government; the Founders and Ron Paul understood and understand that, as do I.
Apparently, however, you big-government Republicans are all about crafting big ugly sharp domestic power tools to hand to the next liberal administration. Thanks, guys...that's a big help. [/sarcasm]

You have so little to say on the topic that all you can do is muster up a grammar/spelling lecture?? Pathetic. Stick to the thread topic. Otherwise, mind your own business, arrogant horse’s patootie.

Yet Ron Paul wants to turn a blind eye to islamic extremists.

Captain Kirk.
You are living in another universe if you think Ron Paul is gaining in the polls or has staying power.

Why don't you ask him? Since this thread was hijacked from the outset I don't see what difference it makes now.

There must be 216 people willing to throw their vote away in any state, so it’s nothing to write home about.

Philman,
It seems that the continued grammar checking on your part reflects far more on your inability to stay on topic than ejonesie’s writing ability. The difference between your two posts is that, even though Jonesie may have grammar problems, at least one can follow his train of thought.
Generally, I find that obsessive grammar checking on forums is more a reflection of some sort of OCD.

Well, yes AND no.
If a reasonable question is asked and one refuses to address it, the non answer can provide more info about that person’s position than a reasoned reply.
What amazes me is the amount of time spent and the degree of nastiness towards Dr Paul from people who claim that he has no chance of winning. Why not just ignore him?
I see no discussion, no debate, no argument from his detractors, only insults. And yet they claim that they have the moral high ground.
To: mnehrling
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I’ll give them the scant attention they rightfully deserve.
