We can, and should, take such actions only when we have no further choices, and decide on our own that such actions are in our national interest. (My wager is that the world, and the UN, and the US will do nothing whatsoever to deal with Iran. Either intelligent, and younger Iranians will revolt and succeed, or Israel will bomb all nuclear targets. Either way, the US will say "We did nothing," and then applaud vigorously.)

Latest article: "The Are-You-Kidding Award for Cong. Conyers"
"America's leaders are knowingly colluding with Israel's enemies to bring about her destruction. They cannot claim ignorance: Islam's words and its actions are consistent, and declare its intent to annihilate the Jewish nation.
Let America stand warned. Let her heed the warnings from 9/11, let her heed the warnings from Hurricane Katrina. Conspire to force the Jews from the land God has given them and that which was intended for them will come upon our own heads."
Dude needs a serious brain surgery.
Maybe.
Some background: Google News is on my radar screen 24/7. I discovered this story on Google News which picked it up from a news site called "Dafka" (an Israeli site with mucho intel involvement) which picked it up from the ultra-right wing "Israel National News." Those two Israeli news sites have little in common. This "editorial" has hit the blogs in a very powerful way. So, whether you agree or don't, its impact has hit a very sensitive cord.
Its my belief that Israel and the US are on the same page, same paragraph, same word. But when we here in Israel feel the slightest drift, we look at US conservatives for reinforcement. We are on the front line here. We know that many of you would give your lives for Israel. Please let the world know that you would never place oil before Israeli democracy. Hey - doesn't Alaska have more oil than the Middle-East? ;>
My take: America has been fighting with its left thumb. With just its left thumb Iraq was conquered. Should we decide to use both hands and do the occasional kick, no country or set of countries can defeat us.
[The harsh reality is America has secured her Middle Eastern interests at the expense of Jewish blood and Israeli security.]
Who supplies the foreign aid that allows Israel to exist at all?
Not to be belligerent here, but the surly tone, wild claims and one-sided writing of this article surely earns the author a tinfoil hat.
If I'm not mistaken (and I'm not) the US takes a lot of crap from being Israel's biggest Cheerleader. OPEC sure would like us more if we were as the author suggests.
Based on our relationship with our uneasy allies in the ME, I'd hope that the author's views are way out on the fringe.
