Russia hours away from cutting off Belarus gas

Russia has edged closer to cutting gas supplies to neighbouring Belarus
as talks in Moscow on a price dispute entered their final hours,
prompting fears of energy disruptions in western Europe.

Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov said on national television on
Sunday that marathon negotiations over the weekend had so far failed. "We
have not been able to agree, but Gazprom is doing everything so that a
contract be signed on gas delivery for 2007."

Kupriyanov spoke 20 hours before a Gazprom deadline of 0700 GMT Monday
for Belarus to accept a price increase for Russian gas imports from the
current 45 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres to 105 dollars, about a third
of which would be paid in shares in Belarus's pipeline network.

However, in a potentially positive development, Belarus's first deputy
prime minister Vladimir Semashko was in Moscow on Sunday "to take part
in the negotiations," according to his spokesman in Minsk. Gazprom has
previously said that without Semashko's presence no deal was possible.

If Gazprom cuts supplies -- as it did briefly in a similar price
dispute with Ukraine last January -- many of Belarus's 10 million people may
start the New Year in chilly conditions, while the country's industrial
base will suffer a major blow.

There are also concerns in the European Union that the row will impact
on Russian imports, 20 percent of which transit through Belarus,
meeting about five percent of EU natural gas needs.

Late Saturday Semashko announced that the two sides had agreed to a
price of 100 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres for 2007 and that the price
for 2008-2010 was all that remained to finalise.

But Gazprom immediately poured cold water on the claim, saying it
reflected Semashko's "point of view," not an agreement, and warned of a
"critical scenario."

Gazprom, a state-owned giant that produces a third of the world's gas,
has mounted a tough campaign to end Soviet-era subsidies to
neighbouring countries, as well as expand ownership of infrastructure and other
energy businesses throughout Europe.

The company says it wants to put pricing on a market basis. Critics,
including many in western Europe, fear the Kremlin seeks to use Gazprom
as a tool to reimpose part of its dominance lost at the time of the 1991
Soviet collapse.

Belarus, which lies sandwiched between Russia and the European Union,
is in a loose economic and political partnership with Russia and has
always argued that gas import prices should be similar to those paid
within Russia.

But Kupriyanov on Sunday said this would not be possible, noting that
the price demanded was lower than that now being paid by several other
ex-Soviet republics, including Armenia, another ally of Russia.

"We take into account the relations that there are between our
countries, but all the same Belarus is an independent, sovereign country, and
not a region of Russia, and so the prices should be different,"
Kupriyanov said.

Belarus insists that unless a deal is reached on its own domestic
imports, then transit of Russian gas across Belarus to western Europe will
also be threatened. This could potentially result in shortfalls for EU
members including Germany, Lithuania and Poland.

Gazprom accuses Belarus of preparing to siphon off gas intended for
western Europe and says it will closely monitor the line.

The growing threat of energy war between Russia and Belarus could spell
difficulties for Lukashenko, an autocratic ruler who runs a
Soviet-style economy largely based on Russian subsidies, analysts say.

Western governments gave strong diplomatic backing to Ukraine's
pro-Western president, Viktor Yushchenko, during the gas row at the start of
2006, but Lukashenko is a political pariah in Europe and the United States.

The EU has limited itself to calling on the two parties to reach a deal
that does not threaten European supplies, while the authorities in
France and Germany say they are not worried by the prospect of shortages.

Somalia's prime minister said Sunday that the suspects in the 1998
bombings of two U.S. embassies in east Africa are sheltering in the
stronghold of his country's militant Islamic movement.

"If we capture them alive we will hand them over to the United States,"
Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi told The Associated Press.

The three men - Comorian Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, Kenyan Saleh Ali
Saleh Nabhan and Abu Taha al-Sudani, a Sudanese - are al-Qaida suspects and
are under U.S. indictment for the 1998 bombings of embassies in Kenya
and Tanzania that killed hundreds of people.

"We know they are in Kismayo," Gedi said. "We would like to capture or
kill these guys at any cost. They are the root of the problem."

Gedi said he had spoken Sunday to the U.S. ambassador in Kenya, Michael
Ranneberger, about ensuring the Kenyan border with Somalia is sealed to
prevent the three escaping. "We will get them," he said.

In what is reminiscent of the Nazi Holocaust when Hitler's Germany forced Jews to wear a yellow Star of David as a mark for extermination, homes of Kosovo's Christian Serbs have recently been marked with the same yellow bands that make the Christian symbol of a cross. Kosovo's Muslim Albanians have threatened violence if Kosovo is not granted independence and concerns are on the rise that these markings will aid the Muslims extremists during a pogrom of Christians that they threaten. MOSCOW (AP) -- Belarus and Russia's natural gas monopoly have signed a contract for 2007 gas supplies, averting a cutoff that was threatened in a rate hike dispute, the Interfax news agency quoted Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko as saying Monday.

OAO Gazprom had said it would halt deliveries to Belarus unless the former Soviet republic agreed to more than double the amount it had paid for gas in 2006.

People paid attention to animal's ability to react to imminent natural dangers in ancient times already

Outstanding Russian scientists Vladimir Vernadsky proved in the middle of the past century that man's impact on the natural world of the planet had taken the scale of a geological disaster. A recent series of underwater earthquakes and the mammoth tsunami in December of 2004 showed human beings their place. "The king of the world" turned out to be helpless and defenseless against the storming nature. Furthermore, people were unable even to predict it, at least several hours in advance.

Scientists noticed, though, that the tsunami disaster of 2004 killed very few animals, whereas the number of human victims was immense - over 300,000 people. There are a lot of hypotheses to explain such a mysterious phenomenon, but people paid attention to animal's ability to react to imminent natural dangesr in ancient times already.

The first incident was documented in the year 2000 A.C. The ancient manuscript says that people noticed that weasels suddenly disappeared from their usual habitats in Crete shortly before a very powerful earthquake rocked the island.

Snakes suddenly appeared on the surface of the ground in the winter of 1975 in China. Snakes are cold-blooded animals; they hide in shelters and become dormant for winter periods. Local authorities treated such a "violation of biological norms" seriously and evacuated the residents. As it turned out later, the snakes forecast a mammoth earthquake, which was measured 7.3 on Richter scale. The history of the 20th century proves that animals possess a remarkable ability to foresee not only earthquakes, but tsunamis as well. There were incidents, when animals abandoned valleys prior to avalanching; London residents paid attention to cats and dogs' behavior before air raids during the WWII years.

A beacon worker in South India said in December of 2004 that he had seen a large flock of antelopes fleeing the coastal area towards nearest hills just several hours before the tsunami disaster. Eyewitnesses say that elephants were trumpeting, breaking chains and escaping inland in Thailand. Having a presentiment of a forthcoming natural disaster, flamingos left their lowlands and flew in the direction of mountainous areas as well. Employees of the Malaysian zoo noticed that all animals had a very strange way of behavior: the majority of zoo animals hid in their shelters and refused to go out.

The tsunami disaster killed over 30,000 people in Sri Lanka. However, almost all local elephants, deer and other wild animals survived the monstrous attack of tidal waves. It is worth mentioning that only one wild boar of 2,000 animals of an Indian reserve was killed in the 2004 tsunami disaster.

According to US biologists, 14 sharks, which were kept under regular observation for several years, had left their usual places of living 12 hours before Charlie hurricane hit Florida. The sharks disappeared in deep waters of the ocean and returned only two weeks later, although they have never left their natural habitat before.

Animals obviously know something that humans can never comprehend or learn. The tsunami disaster of 26 December 2004 made scientists look deeper into the mystery. Researchers have already proved that different animal species living all over the world possess the surprising ability to envisage natural catastrophes.

Unlike humans, wild animals can perceive a lot more information about the world around them. Their senses are a lot better, they can sense vibrations at huge distances; even a slight change in the atmospheric pressure will not remain unnoticed for animals. Their major advantage is an ability to read and see natural warnings, which helps them avoid the storm of nature. Biologists believe that it is impossible to obtain such a capability, although the knowledge of animal instincts could bring good to people.

Scientists also noticed that wild animals have a much better reaction to imminent dangers in comparison with domestic animals. Domestic animals live under the strong influence of human culture. The latter is made of a system of rules, taboos and physiological delicacies. It is not ruled out that a human being used to be as sensitive to natural changes as wild animals are now. Ancient people probably had this animal instinct as well: perhaps they knew where to run and hide in order to save themselves from earthquakes or volcano eruptions. There is even an expression in modern language - "To have the feeling of animal fear." The human civilization wiped off the capacity for biological indication. A human being does not have an adequate reaction to what the body registers despite the person's will.

Some people suffer from terrible pain in the joints before powerful landslides, for example. Others suffer from internal hemorrhage or high temperature, which occurs before a natural disaster without any particular reasons. Children and extrasensorial individuals are most "talented tellers" of forthcoming natural disasters in this respect.

Make no mistake about it, the current war is very much a continuation
of World War Two. The arab nazi axis never really went away.

When the arab nations attacked Israel on October 6th,1973 they did

religion. That will save our honor."

In late 1944, Husseini still sponsored a last-ditch effort to
trigger another
Arab rebellion. His agents, a mixed German-Arab commando crew,
parachuted here.
Their first mission was poisoning Tel Aviv's wells. Husseini arrived
in Berlin
three years earlier, after escaping the British. There he became
Hitler's
personal guest. The fuehrer granted him a prolonged personal
audience, and the
two reached a perfect meeting of the minds
on how to solve the Jewish problem. Husseini was put up in a large
house on Berlin's Klopstock Street, to which the SS referred as "the
Jewish Institute." With good reason. Until 1939 it was a
Zionist-oriented Hebrew school. There must have been particular
perverse pleasure in lodging the mufti precisely there. He thereafter
referred to his new residence as "The Research Institute on the
Jewish
Problem in the Moslem World." The Germans regarded Husseini as worth
investing in. Various Nazi establishments competed for his
affections.
The Foreign Ministry paid him the then monthly equivalent of over
$10,000, when the dollar was almighty. This sum was more than matched
by the SS from its sonderfund resources, which consisted of assets
robbed from Jews, often before their execution. Again, the perverse
pleasure must have been considerable. Husseini's first Third Reich
port of call was SS chief Heinrich Himmler's headquarters. Himmler
took Husseini under his personal wing. He not only organized tours
for
him to Auschwitz, but sponsored and financed his Moslem clerical
academy in Dresden. The graduates were to spearhead Nazi rule in
Moslem lands. Husseini was in charge of pro-German and anti-Semitic
propaganda for Arabs and Moslems everywhere. He recruited Bosnians
and
other Moslem volunteers, who were to cleanse newly-occupied areas of
"hostile elements," concentrate Jews for transport, and operate the
projected death machine in Palestine - in the manner Ukrainians did
the dirty work in Eastern Europe.

The SS interest in the mufti preceded the war. It financed his
uprising here
between 1936-39. In
1937, Adolf Eichmann visited this country to reconnoiter the Zionist
endeavor and meet the mufti, but the British allowed him only a
48-hour stay. Eventually Himmler introduced Husseini to Eichmann.
Thereafter the mufti became a frequent caller at Eichmann's office.
The two got along famously. They shared the goal of exterminating all
Middle Eastern Jews. This is backed by ample documentation from the
Nuremberg and Eichmann trials. At the end of 1942, Eichmann ordered
10,000 Jewish children sent from Poland to Theresienstadt. The Red
Cross offered to trade German civilians for them.Husseini got wind of
the scheme and protested vehemently to Himmler, warning him that the
little Jews would soon become big Jews. The exchange was cancelled.
Husseini is moreover "credited" with having personally foiled any
compromise on the fate of Hungarian Jewry at the very end of the war.
In his memoirs he wrote: "Our fundamental condition for cooperating
with Germany was a free hand to eradicate every last Jew from
Palestine and the Arab world. I asked Hitler for an explicit
undertaking to allow us to solve the Jewish problem in a manner
befitting our national and racial aspirations and according to the
scientific methods innovated by Germany in the handling of its Jews.
The answer I got was: 'The Jews are yours.' " After the war, Husseini
was declared a wanted war criminal. He fled to France, and from there
reached safety in Egypt, joining a host of nefarious Nazis who
continued maintaining a network of espionage, sabotage, and virulent
antisemitism from Arab havens. The mufti, who was deeply mourned by
the masses when he died in 1974, still remains revered. Arafat and
Faissal Husseini are both his blood kin. Neither repudiated him nor
renounced his teachings. A few weeks ago, an official PA communique,
reprinted in Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, accused Israelis of "murdering tots
and elderly Arabs mercilessly. Jews tear open the bellies of pregnant
women and rip out the fetuses, claiming this is the commandment of
the
God of Israel, which he ordered the People of Israel to fulfill." The
logical remedy must be the mufti's recipe for saving Arab honor and
pleasing Allah.

In Baghdad, Hussein began to learn more
than reading and writing.
His tutor, Khayrallah had been
"cashiered" from the Iraqi army for
supporting a "Pro-Nazi" coup attempt
that failed. Khayrallah's
bitterness towards the British and
imperialism, soon was transferred
to Saddam. In fact, some confidants of
Hussein point to his
relationship with Tulfah
as a turning point in his political
awareness. To demonstrate Tulfah's
importance to Hussein, he was later
made Mayor of Baghdad under the
Hussein regime. Saddam finished
intermediate school (roughly the
equivalent of 9th Grade) at the age of
sixteen, and attempted to be
admitted to the prestigious Baghdad Military Academy. Unfortunately,
his poor grades prevented him from doing so, and he became more
deeply
involved in political matters. In 1956, he participated in a
non-successful coup attempt against the monarchy of King Faisal II.
In
1957, he joined the Baath party, a radical nationalist movement. In
1958, a non-Baathist group of army officers succeeded in overthrowing
the King. The group was led by General Abdul Qassim. In 1959, Saddam
and a group of Baathist supporters attempted to assassinate Gen.
Qassim by a day-light machine-gun attack. The attack was
unsuccessful,
but it helped to place Hussein in a leadership position in the
Baathist movement and furthered the process of nationalist political
indoctrination. After the attack, in which Hussein is slightly
wounded, he fled to Syria. From Syria, he went to Cairo, Egypt where

el-Husseini matriculated to the University of Cairo. The student
decided to conceal his true identity and enlisted as "Yasser Arafat."
3 ] Persecution was at its worst at the end of 1968. Scores were
jailed upon the discovery of a local "spy ring" composed of Jewish
businessmen. Fourteen men-eleven of them Jews-were sentenced to death
in staged trials and hanged in the public squares of Baghdad; others
died of torture. On January 27, 1969, Baghdad Radio called upon
Iraqis
to "come and enjoy the feast." Some 500,000 men, women and children
paraded and danced past the scaffolds where the bodies of the hanged
Jews swung; the mob rhythmically chanted "Death to Israel" and "Death
to all traitors." This display brought a world-wide public outcry
that
Radio Baghdad dismissed by declaring:
"We hanged spies, but the Jews crucified Christ." 4 In 1978, Saddam
had been working with other Arab nations to ostracize Egypt for it's
diplomatic initiative in resolving Israel/Arab questions. An ally,
President Hafez al-Assad of Syria, almost became the undoing of
Hussein's ascension. If a Syrian/Iraqi federation were formed against
Egypt, Assad, not Hussein, would rise to a position of greater power
in the relationship. President Bakr would lead the federation with
Assad as second in command. Hussein could not allow that to happen
and
began to urge the President to step down. Again with the help of his
family and security apparatus, Hussein was able to accomplish his
task. On July 16, 1979, President Bakr resigned, officially due to
health problems, but in reality a victim of Hussein's political
in-fighting. Moving quickly to consolidate his power, he called a
major Baathist meeting on July 22, 1979. During the meeting, various
family members and other Hussein devotees urged that the party be
"cleansed". Hussein then read a list of names and asked that they
step
outside. Once there, they are taken into custody. A high-ranking
member of the Revolutionary Command, the head of the labor unions,
the
leading Shiite member of the Command, and twenty (20) others are then
systematically and personally killed by Hussein and his top party
officials. During the next few days, reports indicate that as many as
450 other military officers, deputy prime ministers, and "non-party
faithful" were rounded up and killed. This purge insured Hussein's
consolidation of power in Iraq.
In 1980, Iraq invaded Iran and conducted an eight year war against
one
of his nearest neighbors and the home of Shiite fundamentalist
Muslims. The war continued for eight years of brutality and even
repression of Hussein's own countrymen" -especially the (Sunni) Kurds
(and the Shiite Arabs)-. "2 1941 - In April, in accordance to a 1930
treaty Iraq permits the British to move their troops into Iraq. Iraq
appeals for Nazi support and attacks the British air base at
Habbaniya. The Iraqi army is beaten and Prime Minister Rashid Ali
flees the country. Britian resumes military control. The monarchy is
restored. Saddam Hussein's uncle Khairallah is jailed and Saddam
moves
to live with his mother and step-father 1981 - On June 7th Iraq's
nuclear research reactor was destroyed by an Israeli airforce attack.
President Saddam arranges to have the philosophical writings of his
uncle Khairallah published in a treatise titled 'Three Whom God
Should
Not Have Created: Iranians, Jews and Flies." In September the Iraqi
armed forces pull back East of the Karun river.

subject of repeated harassment and persecution by the Iraq government

The Ministry of Education of Iraq once issued a textbook for boys'

Iraqi government has systematically expelled around 10% of its
population for the crime of having Iranian ancestry. Most Iraqi Jews
have long since fled to Israel.

Kairallah was to become not only Saddam's father figure but his
political mentor as well. Kairallah had fought against Great Britain
in the Iraqi uprising of 1941 and had spent five years in prison for
his nationalist agitation. He filled the impressionable young boy's
head with tales of his heroic relatives-his great grandfather and two
great uncles-who gave their lives for the cause of Iraqi nationalism
while fighting foreign invaders. Kairallah, who was later to become
governor of Baghdad, shaped young Hussein's world view, imbuing him
with a hatred of foreigners. In 1981, Saddam republished a pamphlet
written by his uncle entitled "Three Whom God Should Not Have
Created:

all my Moslem brothers throughout the whole world to join in the Holy
War for God, for the defense of Islam and her lands against her
enemy.
O Faithful, obey and respond to my call. O Moslems! Proud 'Iraq has
placed herself in the vanguard of this Holy Struggle, and has thrown
herself against the strongest enemy of Islam certain that God will
grant her victory.
The English have tried to seize this Arab-Moslem land, but she has
risen, full of dignity and pride to defend her safety, to fight for
her honor and to safeguard her integrity. 'Iraq fights the tyranny
which has always had as its aim the destruction of Islam in every
land. It is the duty of all Moslems to aid 'Iraq in her struggle and
to seek every means to fight the enemy, the traditional traitor in
every age and every situation.
Whoever knows the history of the East has everywhere seen the hand of
the English working to destroy the Ottoman Empire and to divide the
Arab countries. British politics toward the Arab people is masked
under a veil of Hypocrisy. The minute she sees her chance, England
squeezes the prostrate country in her Imperialist grasp, adding
futile
justifications. She creates discord and division within a country and
while feeding it in secret openly she assumes the role of advisor and
trusted hiend. The time when England could deceive the peoples of the
East is passed. The Arab Nation and the Moslem people have awakened
to
fight British domination. The English have overthrown the Ottoman
Empire, have destroyed Moslem rule in India, inciting one community
against another; they stifled the Egyptian awakening, the dream of
Mohammed Ali, colonizing Egypt for half a century. They took
advantage
of the weakening of the Ottoman Empire to stretch out their hands and
use every sort of trick to take possession of many Arab countries as
happened to Aden, the 9 Districts, the Hadramut, Oman, Masqat and the
Emirates of the Persian Gulf and Transjordania. The vivid proof of
the
imperialistic designs of the British is to be found in Moslem
Palestine which, although promised by England to Sheriff Hussein has
had to submit to the outrageous infiltration of Jews, shameful
politics designed to divide Arab-Moslem countries of Asia from those
of Africa. In Palestine the English have committed unheard of
barbarisms; among others, they have profaned the el-Aqsa Mosque and
have declared the most unyielding war against Islam, both in deed and
in word. The Prime Minister at that time told Parliament that the
world would never see peace as long as the Koran existed. What hatred
against Islam is stronger than that which publicly declares the
Sacred
Koran an enemy of human kind? Should such sacrilege go unpunished?
After the dissolution of the Moslem Empire in India and of the
Ottoman
Caliphate, England, adhering to the policy of Gladstone, pursued her
work of destruction to Islam depriving many Islamic States both in

"final solution" to the "Jewish Problem", the Mufti (Yasser Arafat's
father's brother) and Adolf Hitler confer in Berlin, November 21,
1941
Haj Amin al Husseini, recording in his own handwriting his meeting
with Hitler in his diary, says:
The words of the Fuehrer on the 6th of Zul Qaada 1360 of the Hejira
(which falls on the 21st of November 1941) Berlin, Friday, from 4:30
P.M. till a few minutes after 6.:
"The objectives of my fight are clear. Primarily, I am fighting the
Jews without respite, and this fight includes the fight against the
so-called Jewish National Home in Palestine because the Jews want to
establish there a central government for their own pernicious
purposes, and to undertake a devastating and ruinous expansion at the
expense of the govemments of the world and of other peoples.
It is clear that the Jews have accomplished nothing in Palestine and
their claims are lies. All the accomplishments in Palestine are due
to
the Arabs and not to the Jews. I am resolved to find a solution for
the Jewish problem, progressing step by step without cessation. With
regard to this I am making the necessary and right appeal, first to
all the European countries and then to countries outside of Europe.
It is true that our common enemies are Great Britain and the Soviets
whose principles are opposed to ours. But behind them stands hidden
Jewry which drives them both. Jewry has but one aim in both these
countries. We are now in the midst of a life and death struggle
against both these nations. This fight will not only determine the
outcome of the struggle between National Socialism and Jewry, but the
whole conduct of this successful war will be of great and positive
help to the Arabs who are engaged in the same struggle. This is not
only an abstract assurance.* A mere promise would be of no value
whatsoever. But assurance which rests upon a conquering force is the
only one which has real value. In the Iraqi campaign, for instance,
the sympathy of the whole German people was for Iraq. It was our aim
to help Iraq, but circumstances prevented us from fumishing actual
help. The German people saw in them (in the Iraqis-Ed.) comrades in
suffering because the German people too have suffered as they have.
All the help we gave Iraq was not sufficient to save Iraq from the
British forces. For this reason it is necessary to underscore one
thing: in this struggle which will decide the fate of the Arabs I can
now speak as a man dedicated to an ideal and as a military leader and
a soldier. Everyone united in this great struggle who helps to bring
about its successful outcome, serves the common cause and thus serves
the Arab cause. Any other view means weakening the military situation
and thus offers no help to the Arab cause. Therefore it is necessary
for us to decide the steps which can help us against world Jewry,
against Communist Russia and England, and which among them can be
most
useful. Only if we win the war will the hour of deliverance also be
the hour of fulfillment of Arab aspirations. The situation is as
follows: We are conducting the great struggle to open the way to the
North of the Caucasus. The difficulties involved are more than
transportation because of the demolished railways and roads and
because of winter weather. And if I venture in these circumstances to
issue a declaration with regard to Syria, then the pro-de Gaulle
elements in France will be strengthened and this might cause a revolt
in France. These men (the French) will be convinced then that joining
Britain is more advantageous and the detachment of Syria is a pattern
to be followed in the remainder of the French Empire. This will
strengthen de Gaulle's stand in the colonies. If the declaration is
issued now, difficulties will arise in Western Europe which will
cause
the diversion of some (German-Ed.) forces for defensive purposes,
thus
preventing us from sending all our forces to the East. Now I am going
to tell you something I would like you to keep secret. First, I will
keep up my fight until the complete destruction of the Judeo-
Bolshevik
rule has been accomplished. Second, during the struggle (and we don't
know when victory will come, but probably not in the far future) we
will reach the Southern Caucasus. Third, then I would like to issue a
declaration; for then the hour of the liberation of the Arabs will
have arrived. Germany has no ambitions in this area but cares only to
annihilate the power which produces the Jews.
Fourth, I am happy that you have escaped and that you are now with
the
Axis powers. The hour will strike when you will be the lord of the
supreme word and not only the conveyer of our declarations. You will
be the man to direct the Arab force and at that moment I cannot
imagine what would happen to the Western peoples. Fifth, I think that
with this Arab advance begins the dismemberment of the British world.
The road from Rostov to Iran and Iraq is shorter than the distance
from Berlin to Rostov. We hope next year to smash this barrier. It is
better then and not now that a declaration should be issued as (now)
we cannot help in anything.
I understand the Arab desire for this (declaration-Ed.), but His
Excellency the Mufti must understand that only five years after I
became President of the German government and Fuehrer of the German
people, was I able to get such a declaration (the Austrian Union-
Ed.),
and this because military forces prevented me from issuing such a
declaration. But when the German Panzer tanks and the German air
squadrons reach the Southern Caucasus, then will be the time to issue
the declaration. He said (in reply to a request that a secret
declaration or a treaty be made) that a declaration known to a number
of persons cannot remain secret but will become public. I (Hitler)
have made very few declarations in my life, unlike the British who
have made many declarations. If I issue a declaration, I will uphold
it. Once I promised the Finnish Marshal that I would help his country
if the enemy attacks again. This word of mine made a stronger
impression than any written declaration.
Recapitulating, I want to state the following to you: When we shall
have arrived in the Southern Caucasus, then the time of the
liberation
of the Arabs will have arrived. And you can rely on my word. We were
troubled about you. I know your life history. I followed with
interest
your long and dangerous journey. I was very concerned about you. I am
happy that you are with us now and that you are now in a position to
add your strength to the common cause. *This is a reply to the
insistent request of the Multi for an Axis declaration to the Arabs.

The German Government has the greatest understanding for the national aspirations of the Arab countries as have been expressed by you both and the greatest sympathy for the sufferings of your peoples under British oppression.

I have therefore the honour to assure you, in complete agreement with the Italian Government, that the independence and freedom of the suffering Arab countries presently subjected to British oppression, is also one of the aims of the German Government.

Germany is consequently ready to give all her support to the oppressed Arab countries in their fight against British domination, for the fulfillment of their national aim to independence and sovereignty and for the destruction of the Jewish National Home in Palestine.

As previously agreed, the content of this letter should be maintained absolutely secret until we decide otherwise.

ADDRESS TO AMERICAN ARABS

Excerpts from a Radio Speech by Haj Amin al-Husseini
March 19, 1943, in Rome

The Arabs and Moslems will not be deceived by Britain once again because not only have they known its true intentions but they have also known those of Britain's allies-America-and I want to draw the attention of the Arab emigrants in America to this fact, reminding them of their glorious past when they supported the National movement. I would also like to remind them that their efforts will be wasted if, God forbid, America and her Allies may be victorious in this War because at such a time the Arabs will never rise again. I therefore know that those Arab emigrants in America will refrain from helping Roosevelt or taking part in a war which he brought on to his country.

If those Allies win this war the Jewish influence will be the arbiter in the world resources and one can thus imagine the future of the Arabs and Moslems, and the dangers which they are exposed to in their fatherlands and beliefs if the Jews and their Allies dominate them and spread the latent hatred on to them.

Then the world will become Hell--God forbid: But Allah is too just and merciful to grant such murderous violators any victory. We are sure that victory will be ours and that of our friends. We have not the slightest doubt about that, we shall not slacken our struggle nor will we be deterred or quietened. Do not be deceived by the allegations of your enemies, because you know full well about their intrigues, and be sure that the nation which fights, sacrifices and awaits will be the victorious one in the end.

A technique of propaganda called "Turnspeak"
The Arab League makes use of a cognitive technique of propaganda called "turnspeak", where you attack someone and then turn it around 180 degrees and claim they attacked you. Because the truth is the exact opposite of the information being disseminated it is psychologically difficult to counter and leads to confusion.

Turnspeak leads to psychological confusion and a feeling of being "burned-out" or "overwhelmed" with too much information, effectively creating a blanket of "white noise" which makes clarity difficult to achieve.

Joan Peters, former White House consultant on the Middle East writes:

The term was first used by journalists to describe German propaganda after it invaded Czechoslovakia in March of 1939. To win sympathy for their invasion, the Germans practiced what has become known as "turnspeak". They turned the blame back on the Czechs for trying to precipitate an all-out war in the region. In other words, the Czechs in their attempt to hang onto their land were ready to plunge all of Europe into war.

How did the rest of Europe respond to this lie? They believed it. World leaders decided that something had to be done to preserve peace at any cost.

Author William Shirer, who was a reporter in Europe at the time, distilled the truth simply when he wrote, "Thus the plight of the German minority in Czechoslovakia was merely a pretext...for cooking up a stew in a land he [Hitler] coveted, undermining it, confusing and misleading its friends and concealing his real purpose...to destroy the Czechoslovak state and grab its territories..." 1

The Arab claim that Jews are "Nazis" is not without motive. They are trying to obscure their own close connection with the Nazis. During World War II leading Muslims including Haj Amin al-Husseini worked for the Nazis in Germany and called for a intifada against Britain. Haji Amin al-Husseini was the grand mufti of Jerusalem, as well as Yasser Arafat's close relative and mentor

The Arabs, especially Iraq, sided with Germany during W.W.II. In May 1941, Haj Amin al-Husseini issued a fatwa - "summons to a holy war against Britain". The Mufti's widely heralded proclamation against Britain was declared in Iraq, and was instrumental in his 1941 pro-Nazi intifada in Iraqi. The Mufti also requested Arab-Americans not to support FDR.

Yasser Arafat's actual name is Abd al-Rahman abd al-Rauf Arafat al-Qud al-Husseini. He shortened it to obscure his kinship with the notorious Nazi and Mufti of Jerusalem.2

Saddam Hussein was raised in the house of his uncle Khayrallah Tulfah, who was a leader in the Mufti's pro-Nazi coup in Iraq in May 1941. Both Yasser Arafat and Saddam Hussein were greatly influenced by the Mufti during their time in Cairo during the 1950s.

Side-by-side comparison of "turnspeak"
Many examples of "turnspeak" abound in today's news media. For example a article in a leading Western news service reported "The settlers are a roaming the west bank with guns and randomly shooting at Palestinian civilians... making Palestinians prisoners in their own villages", or another article that said "They [the settlers] are hunters... They go into jail through one door and out the other." An even more obvious example is Arafat's claims that Israel is stopping the peace process.

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)
PLO Logo Note that its emblem, like that of other Palestinian terrorist groups, displays a map of all of the State of Israel -- not just those areas administered by Israel since 1967.

Though the PLO claims that it recognizes Israel's right to exist and wants to found a state only in Gaza and the West Bank, its official stationery, bearing its official emblem, betrays its true goals. As PLO officials have indicated repeatedly, the organization has designs on conquering all of Israel. These aims have been incorporated into the PLO Charter and the PLO's "phased plan" for Israel's destruction.

The Movement for the National Liberation of Palestine (Fatah)
Note the grenade and crossed rifles, superimposed on the map of Israel. This emphasizes the dedication of Fatah, along with the other "liberation" groups, to the "armed struggle" against Israel, a euphemism for terrorism against civilians.

Founded in the early 1960s by the Egyptian-born Yasser Arafat and friends of his in Algeria, Fatah was originally opposed to the founding of the PLO, which it viewed as a political opponent. Backed by Syria, Fatah began carrying out terrorist raids against Israeli targets in 1965, launched from Jordan, Lebanon and Egyptian-occupied Gaza (so as not to draw reprisals against Syria). Dozens of raids were carried out eachyear, exclusively against civilian targets.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)
The PFLP stemmed from the Arab Nationalists' Movement ANM, created in Beirut by two students, one a Palestinian refugee, George Habash, the other a Syrian who had volunteered in the Arab expedition corps in Palestine in 1948. The pan-Arab movement ANM no longer existed after the Arab defeat of 1967.

Earlier in 1964, reacting to the creation of the PLO that same year, the Palestinian branch of the ANM set itself up as an autonomous group under the name of "National Front for the Liberation of Palestine" which carried out several actions against Israeli territory starting in November 1964. At the end of 1967, the group changed name and became known as the "Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine".

Jamaat ul-Fuqra
Jamaat ul-Fuqra is an Islamic sect that seeks to purify Islam through violence. Fuqra is led by Pakistani cleric Shaykh Mubarik Ali Gilani, who established the organization in the early 1980s. Gilani now resides in Pakistan, but most Fuqra cells are located in North America. Fuqra members have purchased isolated rural compounds in North America to live communally, practice their faith, and insulate themselves from Western culture. Fuqra members have attacked a variety of targets that they view as enemies of Islam, including Muslims they regard as heretics and Hindus. Attacks during the 1980s included assassinations and firebombings across the United States. Fuqra members in the United States have been convicted of criminal violations, including murder and fraud. The winner of the Fatah primary in Jenin goes by the name "Hitler." He is wanted by Israel for the murder of several Arabs. Originally his name was Jamal Abu Rob.

He should not be confused with any of the at least 25 other "Hitlers" or "Abu Hitlers" in the PLO (as of 1993), such as one of the leaders of the elite Palestinian "Force 17" bodyguard unit, or his son "Hitler" (his official given name).

The Veil is a Weapon

Ever wonder when you were a child what you would do if you had the power of becoming invisible? That is precisely what the Muslim face covering (the terms niqab, burka and jilbab all apply) allows, and many terrorists, criminals and fugitives have taken advantage of our politically correct weakness toward the religious practices of another culture. It is an essential tool of the Global Jihad as this continuously updated entry will demonstrate. That is the main reason a heavily-promoted campaign is underway to promote its use.

December 20: Most Wanted Fugitive Escapes UK in Veil

A suspected police killer escaped capture by fleeing Britain disguised as a Muslim woman.

Asylum seeker Mustaf Jama hid beneath a full-face niqab veil to sneak through Heathrow posing as his sister.

Jama, who is wanted for the murder of policewoman Sharon Beshenivsky, also wore a flowing head-to-toe jilbab as he fled to Somalia.

The Muslim gangster had been freed from jail six months earlier when Home Office officials ruled it would be unfair to deport him to his war-torn homeland because it was too dangerous.

Jama was Britain’s most wanted man when, during last year’s Christmas holidays, he sneaked through Heathrow – even though air, rail and sea ports were on red alert following the murder in Bradford the month before.

He used his sister’s passport to get through a series of security checks. At no stage was he asked to remove the veil so officials could do a proper identity check.

There would have been opportunities as he checked-in for the flight, at the hand-luggage security screening, when passports are produced at embarkation and when boarding the plane.

Last night the Home Office said that although all those who wear a veil are checked as they arrive in the UK, this is “rarely done” for departing passengers.

A spokesman confirmed: “It’s not an automatic policy. Immigration officers reserve the right to ask people to remove the veil in order to confirm their identification.”

If necessary, a passenger can be taken to a private room and be asked to remove their veil by a female officer, he said.

BAA, which runs Heathrow, said it is ultimately up to airline cabin staff during boarding whether to ask for a veil to be lifted, a power which is not rigorously enforced.

One intelligence source said: “The implications of this are truly frightening. The fact that a man who, at the time, was Britain’s most wanted person walked through airport security checks dressed as a woman could be interpreted as an open invitation to terrorists to sneak on to a jumbo jet and blow it up....

“But it is incredible, given the huge manhunt that was on for him, that he could just walk through Heathrow dressed as a Muslim woman”....

The £20million trial saw the robbers granted exceptional human rights concessions to ensure their ability to fast and pray during Ramadan was not affected.

The court had to see that the men were back in their prison cells at Durham in time for prayers and on one day the court did not sit because it was a Muslim holy day....

Two hours before the robbery, three of the gangsters attempted to pray at a mosque close to their robbery HQ – a Home Office-funded property for asylum seekers in Leeds.

As a footnote to the above story, the pious cop killer had said:

Don’t make me kill you on a Friday (a reference to the Muslim holy day).

the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, Cuban dictator Fidel Castro reflected

the possible use of nuclear weapons during the U.S.-Soviet
confrontation,
"It was my opinion that, in case of an American invasion [Cuba], a
massive
and total nuclear strike would have to be launched." Given Castro's
affection for nuclear weapons, it should come as no surprise to
observers
that the aging terrorist has befriended Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad. Just last week, Ahmadinejad, a recognized anti-Semite and
human
rights violator, threatened unspecified retaliation against the West
unless
it recognized his own country's nuclear ambitions. "If they want to
deny us
our right, we have ways to secure those rights," he said in Tehran.

Given Castro and Ahmadinejad's mutual distaste for the U.S. and
Western-styled democracy, increased bilateral cooperation between the
two
countries presents serious national security concerns for the U.S. This
month, Iranian Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani
noted
the importance of expanding Tehran-Havana relations saying both
countries
must come together to confront unilateralism of "the big power" -- an
obvious reference to the U.S.
