The only way to lose in Iraq is for the US to pull out. NBC has now decided to call Iraq is in a state of civil war. Reuters admits (boasts?) the policy "would increase public disillusionment with the U.S. troop presence there."
Here we have a member of the media admitting their actions is helping lose the war.
The US media is perhaps the most potent enemy in the Iraq war. It is either naive or irresponsible for the war's supporters, both in and out of the administration, not to take the fight to the media.

At least they admit it.

I'm shocked that our Lame Stream Media has been interfering with the prosecution of this war; utterly shocked (/sarc off).

Abandoning Iraq is the worst of all options.
Whatever the reason(s) for going in, we are there. If we abandon them like we did the Vietnamese, what ends up there will be far worse than what was there before with regard to a threat to our Nation.
In addition, what little credibility we have been able to build in our word will be gone. NOBODY will care what we think or do, and nobody will align themselves with us again.
The north Vietnamese hated US being there. The terrorist who will control Iraq if we abandon them just hate US; Period.
To my knowledge, our mainland was never attacked by the North Vietnamese either before we got involved, during our involvement, or after we abandoned the very noble cause of liberty for the Vietnamese.
The current creeps we are fighting delight in torture of women and children. They will return to our shores.
