"We Have Not Forgotten, Mr. President."
The man The Nation declares to be the "best news anchor on television today", Keith Olbermann (who wasn't even the best of his SportsCenter team), apes the archetypal modern liberal pose of self-righteous indignation, beginning his rant trying to establish his sincere emotional response to 9/11 as some kind of solid foundation that can support a whining, anti-Bush diatribe. Sorry, Mr. Olbermann, but no amount of feeling regarding 9/11 can give legitimacy to your cockamamie arguments.
He whines, again, that since the President didn't adopt his preferred policies, it is the President's fault for destroying American unity.
"History teaches us that nearly unanimous support of a government cannot be taken away from that government by its critics. It can only be squandered by those who use it not to heal a nation's wounds, but to take political advantage.
Terrorists did not come and steal our newly-regained sense of being American first, and political, fiftieth. Nor did the Democrats. Nor did the media. Nor did the people.
The President -- and those around him -- did that."
But he forgets so much. It was a unified nation that cheered the war in Afghanistan. And it was a bona fide, bipartisan Congress that, fully aware of the risks, dangers and goals, authorized the war in Iraq. And when that war started, it was the American people who approved of the war, with 75% approving of the action in April 2003.

Hoefully he used 16 inch spikes when he did it.
That pretty much speaks for itself.
He is a RDDB.

If you read the whole article, you'll see that he does.
If somebody has politicized the war, I would wager it is the idiot standing on the street corner with a BUSH = HITLER sign.
Good job. Except for "Whole in the ground" which should be "hole in the ground" I'm pretty sure.
Yes. Along with Reid, Pelosi, Kerry, Dean, et al.
Most of the country keeps asking "and who is this Olberman of which you speak?"
My answer -- grab your Webster's - look up "pontificating jackass" and "irrelevant."
One can only wonder what the five viewers who tune in his show must think.
"He's as cold as the other side of the pillow."
Dirty, rusty spikes.
Hey Keith, you puke, come to my place in Texas and I will change your tone. You are worthless. Nobody watches your little insignificant show on TV. You were a joke at sports broadcasting. Come on boy, make my day. Get your people to contact my people...it will be fun.
Feckless crapweasel=Keith Olberman
"...squandered by those who use it not to heal a nation's wounds, but to take political advantage." You are exactly right. He's actually thinking about the Rats.

This guy nails Olberman to the wall.

He sure did! But unfortunately if you tell a moonbat that Bush said 2+2=4, they will argue against it. Just as the article says.
Damn good article... and when to we get to swing Wilson from an oak tree?
He's an delusional ass, but the only thing he was right about was the hole in the ground at ground Zero.
Why in the world is there not even a corner stone layed down?
It is shameful there is nothing there.
Until we rebuild bigger and better the Islamic fascists will still have a victory
There were a couple of hundred over at DU last night after Olberman's rant. They were worshipping him.
I was peeking in just before P2911 came on last night to see their heads spin again! Performed all necessary decontamination procedures afterward.
There are several grammar and spelling issues in his piece, but overall the message is clear and spot on.
Terrorists did not come and steal our newly-regained sense of being American first, and political, fiftieth. Nor did the Democrats
LOL, support for the government can't be taken from a media and political opposition that daily has attacked the president, viciously, on EVERYTHING??? From day 1 Keith the Democrats have questioned this president's legitimacy, his intelligence even his respect for the life of his countrymen by claiming Bush was somehow complicit in carrying off 9-11. Yet this incredibly mean-spirited rhetoric is somehow Bush's fault?? The Dems. gave it a small break for 9-11, only because they had to, but when they sensed the first opportunity, they were all over Bush's ass again and haven't stop since, not with constructive criticism but in an effort to take the man apart molecule by molecule so obsessive was their hate for Bush. Claiming Bush caused all this would be like saying the person who got ran over by a car while minding his own business walking on the sidewalk is to blame for being in the war of the car. Sorry Keith. Whatever Orwellian world you live in, it is precisely the political opposition and its demagoguery that has so badly divided the nation, even while the president and his party at best has respond timidly, almost apologetically, to the viciously partisan venom of its critics. To blame Bush and the GOP for the division and partisanship of the opposition party and media hacks like you would be like blaming Jews for the Holocaust Keith. Stop acting like your utter dishonesty, bile, ugliness, rudeness and downright indecency is all Bush's fault and that he brought it all upon himself. Stop me before I kill again, right Keith? Good gosh what a dumbsh-t are. Burn in hell.
