There was another column by Professor Beeman of Brown University in the Providence Journal the other day. He often has columns published in the Journal, and they all have the same message regardless of what part of the Middle East he is addressing: we shouldn’t get too upset about the fact that the Islamacists want to kill us because they have some grievances arising out of mistakes made by western powers in the past.

Criminy. Liberals are so messed up. I, for one have a great many grievances against the arrogance and usurpatory power of Democrats when they are in office. Do they give two figs to hear my grievances? Non! They just write me off calling me a "hater".

And when this "professor" takes a punch to the nose will he for one moment want to "hear" the grievances of whomever hit him? Non!

Gee Muslims back when raped and pillaged and carried off for slaves some of my Ancestors. Because of the "Mistakes" the Muslim powers made back when, I want to kill their descendent's today.

Do you suppose the good Prof will be as good a little PR whore for MY grievances as he is for the Muzzies? PAST Historical mistakes are NO justification for current misdeeds. Another example of just how screamingly ignorant Moral Relativist are of anything even remotely resembling reality.
