A SH with it's AESA does have a better ground picture, his ATFLIR is more capable..... yes, that F14D can not keep up with a SH. Sorry-

Oh, and I forgot ours (F-14Ds) were carrying LANTIRN pods. "Ours" being in the airwing; I went from Phantoms (a REAL fighter - attack aircraft) to Hornets way back in 1986.
