White House Counsel Harriet Miers, the Supreme Court nominee who withdrew after a conservative revolt last fall, has allegedly vetoed several recommendations offered by conservatives to fill vacancies on federal courts.
The White House would not directly respond to the charge, which was made this morning during a conference call with more than 40 conservative leaders. Two people on the callwhose identities I promised to keep confidentialsaid they had inside knowledge of the recommended nominees whom Miers nixed.

Unlike you, I'm not two-faced; I don't like it from EITHER SIDE. I'm not willing to accept smears from my party just because they are MY PARTY.
Like I said, it's telling you will.
It is a news story in the same way the bilge from Capitol Hill Blue is a news story.
You know, quoting anonymous sources that Bush said the Constitution is "nothing but a gd piece of paper!"
Stuff like that.
Nobody else wants the job, right? END SARCASM!

"I liked her in that Barneycam classic, 'Where in the White House is Miss Beazley?'"
I missed that one. Did it have a happy ending?
It's babble to you, obviously.
Blocking otherwise qualified conservatives isn't.
all that clap trap about projecting is called psychobabble. I'm sure you're good at it. Project that.
Probably not.
But I find it hypocritical that the same people who were giddy over Roberts bash Miers...the very person who recommended him.
Where's the proof she did?
Yes, very much so. Kind of a comeic ending with the joke on old Barney!
I like those videos, no joke!
Do you believe two anonymous sources? Name two or three liberal candidates Bush has nominated.
Hell hath no fury...
