I've read Revelation a few times recently. And related parts of Daniel, Ezekiel, Mathew, and Thessalonian. I do not see a compelling reason to believe in a pre tribulation rapture though.
For instance I have read Matthew chapter 24 vs 15 through 31. Notice the progression. The desecration of abominations written about by Daniel, then times of trouble as the world has never seen or ever will see again, then the sun fading out and stars falling from the sky, and finally the Coming of the Son of Man with the sound of a trumpet.
Revelation and Daniel both will put the desecration at time, times, and half a time (specifically three and a half years) after the covenant with many by the Antichrist. Then he will declare himself god in the high temple--which puts us after the scrolls and before the trumpets.
Now there are a few arguments that can be made for a pre tribulation rapture, but I just don't think they are as strong.
The bigger point is that you can't know exactly what the prophecy means until its come to pass. (note that Jesus said specifically in Mathew 24:36 that even He does not know the day, but only the Father). But I do think its fun to try to piece it together, and make my best guess.
