I also have a suggestion for something that may help you sleep. I went for a couple of months where I had so much trouble de-stressing from the day. I finally remembered something that I used to do. It may sound cheesy, but have you ever done yoga? I used to do the videos while I was pregnant. The last section in each video is a relaxation section where you block out outside stimuli and relax different parts of your body, starting at the tip of your head going down to your toes. I started doing it again to help me relax and stop being tense, and after a few days, I was falling asleep very quickly, instead of laying in bed for hours trying to fall asleep, and getting more and more worked up because I knew I was having another bad night. It may help you relax at night, especially since you seem to get anxious at night just from the anticipation of having a hard time sleeping.
Any type of meditation that helps relax me isn't cheesy. I will try breathing and relaxing.
