I think everyone here feels the same as I do, in that this is a very fine line we're dealing with here. This leads me to another of my rambling thoughts.
I do not condone, nor would I ever participate in the bombing of an abortion clinic. I do however believe that abortion is the murder of innocents. Therefore I understand why some feel driven to do so. I get sick to my stomach if I dwell on the activities inside one of those places. Many of those who do commit those acts of violence do so (wrongly I believe) in the name of God. I mention this only because I see some similarity between that and what the Muslims are doing, and both have to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This allows us to justify going after violent Muslims without saying their religion is the reason.
Does that make sense, or am I way off the mark.

I firmly believe that abortion is murder, and is only "appropriate" in certain dire situations -- i.e., rape, incest, life of mother (REALLY!) in danger, etc.

HST, I do not condone nor would I participate in a violent protest at an abortion clinic, either.

But I would not lump the anti-abortion crowd with the Islamofacists -- both are evil, IMHO, but on a far different level. While the one targets specific individuals and commits a criminal act, the other targets whole societies and commits an act of war.

There is a world of difference between the two.
