C'mon, everybody! This makes a great chant! Very rhythmic:
REVOLT! REVOLUTION! POLITICAL CIVIL WAR!
REVOLT! REVOLUTION! POLITICAL CIVIL WAR!
REVOLT! REVOLUTION! POLITICAL CIVIL WAR!
and they bash Bush for saying that... sheez I don't get these people... they are people, right?
I can't tell if this DUmmie is making a typo of "moment" or "momentum."
Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-TOX)
Sen. Barbara Botoxer (D-CAY)
Your whole Democrat Party is a bunch of DINOs--as in "dinosaurs," an endangered species heading toward extinction.
BTTT
Smurfalicious!
Actually, seriesly, this DUmmie is on the verge of a correct thought, without realizing it. This is what the pro-abortion crowd SHOULD have attempted over 33 years ago, i.e., try for a constitutional amendment, RATHER THAN legislate from the bench, which is what the SCOTUS did on January 22, 1973, with its UNCONSTITUTIONAL decision (see the Tenth Amendment) to take away the STATES' rights to have laws against abortion! If they wanted to take away the states' rights to have such laws, they should have tried the amendment process--but of course that is MUCH more difficult to accomplish than simply getting the Supreme Court to INVENT some "penumbras" and "emanations."
Good one! You've had me laughing before but you even had my wife laighing at this one.
And now just 200 away from the MAGIC 1000!
Oh, and in the year 800 A.D., Charlemagne was coronated as Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
"YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The entire post that you referenced is disquieting, not just the threat. I think this DUmmie is worth watching.
But then, Chairman How is also a physician, so I could just as well call him, "Dr. Ho":
She actually might run for the Senate against Diane Feinstein in California. No lie.
At the rate he's going, Chairman How is about ready for the royal flush.
The Dims have been after Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe to switch parties, too.
PJ, how many books do you (speed-)read in a year? Of course, it helps that you were a pupil of your mother, who used to teach the Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics course.
And did you see how some of the Senators on the Judiciary Committee were trying to get Alito to say that RvW was "settled law", as in "not gonna review it"? I thought Alito's answer was dead-on. If you mean "settled law" like Brown v. Board of Education, no one is trying to challenge it, nor do we ever expect anyone to do so. RvW is still being challenged. But it is a precedent that should be considered. And bad decisions are reviewed and overturned (Dred Scott, Plessy (sp) v Ferguson). Oooooh, they did NOT like that!
Time to hunt for the live SOTU thread. See y'all later.
