He's more than earned the right to an opinion, you're right, bnelson. His opinions may not always be Bush's opinions, but they're always reasoned, and always said with a great deal of tact, credibility, and ~patriotism~.

Argue the issue. The man's right to speak his own mind is more than earned.

As I said before, I would never criticize his patriotism or his right to speak. I just wish he'd kept this under his hat.

Just who on this thread questioned Powell's right to be heard? His statements are assinine. Nobody's attacked his Vietnam record, now did they?
