WASHINGTON Ambassador Joseph Wilson's attorney is demanding Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely retract a statement he made to WND that the man at the center of the CIA leak case "outed" his own wife as a CIA employee in conversations more than a year before her identity was revealed in a syndicated column.

Might I suggest that ****Alec Baldwin**** play the aging Wilson in Wilson's biopic?
Joe couldn't have been at Fox outting Valerie because Joe & valerie were in the phone booth at Brewster-jennings then forging Nigerien Uranium documents. It came out in the intelligence hearings that Joe claimed to have read the forgeries before the U.S. even received them. Fitz had planned to wind up his investigation a year ago but the Wilson fabrications forced Fitz to re-interview a number of witnesses. Keep that mouth moving Joe. Loose lips sink ships (maybe the good ship "Patrick Figerald").
Have you ever heard the song from Bob And Tom "Prison Bitch"?...oh so fitting for this scum!
this is one reason why Fitz didn't indict on the "outing" charge (aside from the fact it did not occur) - the perjury and obstruction charges are nice and neat, compartmentalized, the trial doesn't have to go into all this stuff, it will just focus on what was said and when to the GJ.
I'm sure Fitzgerald and many others are wishing and hoping it will all be so neat and tidy. Except Fitzgerald will be exposed for conducting a witch hunt fishing expedition instead of finding out who first outted Valerie Plame and that if so it had to be when she actually was a covert agent. Fitzgerald's only escape is to identify the facts... It seems obvious that Fitzgerald's only way out is to ensure that Wilson takes the rap for his (Wilson's) misdeeds.
Vallely lost a son early on in the war on terror, so liar Joe Wilson best watch out........it's personal.
There used to be an ex-CIA guy who lived in the area where I grew up. Everytime the feds started putting pressure on him about some of his activities, he'd call up a reporter and the local small town paper, and give a carefully nuanced interview, ususally concluding with a statement that he might have some more detail later. The federal investigation would vanish, and he'd drop from sight again.
I don't know if that sheds any light on why the feds won't lean on Wilson. My guess is that his former (or perhaps current) employer is worried about what he might spill.
Thanks for the ping!
I'll bet I should know who Bob and Tom are?
Are they the radio jocks out of Indy by brother is always talking about?
The Wreck of the Edmund Patrick Fitzgerald
Good post. There is likely a lot more going on behind the scenes. All I know is...the bad guys like Wilson have to lose here.
Two things:
Genius. Absolute genius. Is that your original observation? If so, may I use that for a possible parody? Please advise.
Seems that Fox News has the answer to whether the two were in the Green Room in the Spring of 2002.
Yes...always did admire them and they seem to know what's going on more than anyone. Always did enjoy listening to their legal viewpoints.
"Is Smokin' Joe still an ambassador? If so, why?"
NO! He took an early retirement at 2/5th his annual salary to start his own business at the same time he bought a $735,000 house, a mercedes and a jaguar.
I've been wondering why he's still using the title but knowing how over-blown his ego is I just brushed it off.
Do you suppose Fox would record anything that might go on in that green room?
Wouldn't that be nice!
