I don't think it's Bush himself, but rather what he represents, that ticks these people off. Maybe because he's a father figure? Republicans tend to be father figures, even the women. DU must reek of people with issues.
These people have never understood that irrational, obsessive hatred just gives the object of that hatred total control over the life of the hater. Even when the object has no idea the hater even exists.
I have mixed feelings about this thread. On one hand, we need to realize these uber haters exist. OTOH, they are totally revolting.
The original post reminds me of the unpopular girl in junior high who writes hate screeds to the class beauty in her diary every night. Probably has a voodoo doll, as well.
