RENO 911 take off on live action RPG.
Looks like some horrible thing I'd do, actually.
Which part of it?
All of it.
(Would have been better if the cop had rolled a D20 first.)

nope. it's a fanfilm Star Wars parody, possibly the best ever, spoofing TV's "COPS" by following the activities of a small detachment of Imperial Stormtroopers on Tattooine.
it is PERFECT.
"TROOPS... All suspects appearing on this program are guilty. Period."

Ok, this is what I heard.
Carrier is out doing what carriers do (project power, demand respect) when they learn that a spy satellite will be flying overhead, probably taking shots of them. Captain knows he has some SCA heavy fighters on board, announces over intercom for all SCA heavies to report to the flight deck in full battle gear for fighter practice just when the satellite is overhead...
The Russians couldn't for their lives figure out what all these guys in leather armor and steel helmets were doing on an aircraft carrier, fighting with swords...
To: Dawsonville_Doc
um... great prank, I'd believe it if I wasn't fairly certain there isn't "officially" space on a carrier for such bulky personal gear.

"TROOPS", is that the one where the guys run around singing in their underwear? No, it's a Star Wars take off on COPS, complete with opening credits.

The TROOPS zip file is 30 megs deep, but worth every bit of time you take to download it. Do yourself a favor -- go get it.

"I'm wearing 'boots of escaping!'" [BLAM!] What a great ending! It's my favorite part. And he never quit his role, all the way into the cop car.

Haven't picked it up yet - I'm looking forward to it though (especially since finding out you can kill Jar-Jar Binks)...
