Hugh Hewitt condemns Tom Tancredo as a "fringe nut", then plants lips on CAIR spokesman's behind.
Let it go, Hugh.
The CAIR fellow was supposed to be on air with Frank Gaffney. That would have been a real ideological fist fight. For some reason Frank didn't show. Hugh was being quite polite with his guest. He obviously wanted to get that pair together again in the near future.
Do recall what the Ole Black Avenger used to say. Give a man all the rope he needs to hang himself.
Sorry for the late reply, work and all.. but I noticed that you not only read it, but stuck around to make several comments. Glad I could provide you with some entertainment. Here's some advice: when you see my comments, just ignore them. In the meantime, lighten up.
Next time, mark it vanity and you won't have a problem with most of us.
Apparently, you were the only one who had a problem with it... most agreed in principle to what I said, even if I was a bit reflexive in my condemnation. Chalk it up to writing when I was hot...of course some may have disagreed, and did so in an intelligent, cogent manner. I never meant, nor should I have insinuated, that my comments were to be interpreted as the benchmark for thought.
"Next time, mark it vanity and you won't have a problem with most of us."
Problem with who?
I like Hewitt, even though I disagree with him on his tancredo obsession, because he doesn't toe the line. I don't know why you are jumping all over moutland, only one having a hissy fit is you.
No, Howlin merely pointed out to you, that your comments belong in vanity. And she's right.
Thanks for the info. This was the first non-blog post I had done. I will know where to place it next time my blood boils...hope I did not waste too much of your time :)
Wow, what an witty reply. Can't argue with Tancredo on the facts so you're left with B-movie level one-liners. Sad.
I called Hugh twice on the show regarding Peter Paul. He said to email. I did that twice. No response. I called him at the school where he teaches and left a message. No response. It was a good time to have Peter on the show because we were in the middle of the Rosen trial.
"association with Pat Buchanan,"
Ahh yet another tancredo hating post from COEXERJ145, too bad tancredo he supports the war in iraq and israel unlike buchanan.
btw:
"Tom Tancredo- The Republican Party's Very Own Cynthia McKinney"
looks like you have no idea who mckinney is or what she's said...to somehow equivocate the two shows a lack of intelligence on your part
The only reason I listen to Hugh Hewitt anymore is Mark Steyn. I always wish he was on for an hour. BTW, anyone know when Steyn is on now? I thought he moved to first hour Thursdays but I don't think he was on this past Thursday.
Hugh Hewitt/CAIR ping
bump
Is George Putnam still on somewhere?
Thanks, beaversmom! I'm about to check this out now.
I guess Hugh doesn't care what we think...He said he was getting a lot of flack (and doesn't care).
I'm not listening to him anymore. Not after Friday and Monday!!!
...most agreed in principle to what I said, even if I was a bit reflexive in my condemnation.Silence is not consent.
MANY of us on this forum like and respect Hugh Hewitt, and refuse to toss him over the side as glibly as you have on this thread. To paraphrase Ruth Graham (Billy Graham's wife):
"If two people agree on EVERYTHING, one of them is unnecessary."
